Lots of small, but very important things add up to the great experience I always have here with Dr. Trapeni and his staff at The Optical Shoppe. When walking in I am always treated with the utmost respect and warm helpful smiles by the front desk staff. Once going back to my appointment, I am always attended to promptly, I am never left sitting around and waiting for long periods of time, and the process is quick, efficient, and smooth. When having to pick out my glasses I was assisted by the BEST of the BEST... they made the whole process painless and very informative. I have never been able to pick out a pair of anything that effortlessly. Truly they are sensational in every aspect. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family, or just someone needing a suggestion for their Eye Doctor. Not that looking forward to a doctors visit is something that I say often...but, if I did have to say it often- I would be happy to say it was to see Dr. Trapeni and his staff.

Every single time I have been to this office for myself, my kids or my extended family members, the wait time is EXTREME. I have worked for and with doctors for years and I have never in my life seen anything like this office. This doctor either needs to hire another provider or stop double/triple booking patients. Unless you have half a day to go in for an eye exam - go somewhere else! I am not exaggerating. My mother-n-law had cataract surgery and went in today for a follow-up (as well as two weeks ago) and both times was there for almost two hours. HER EYE SURGERY TOOK LESS TIME THAN THIS!!!!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Frustrated beyond words. We will never set foot in this office again.

The doctor was wonderful. HOWEVER, the woman who was supposed to help me with the glasses did not let me browse to look for a pair that I wanted. She was very nice and smiling while she just set a pair of $259.oo frames in front of me and told me that she had picked two out that she thought would work. She had not even met me yet, just came to the table with two of the VERY most expensive frames in her hand. She quickly stopped smiling when I told her those were out of my budget and I could only afford what my insurance would cover and was not friendly the rest of the visit. BET SHE WORKS ON COMMISSION!! We are getting a copy of our prescription and getting it filled elsewhere.

Nice office staff. But...forever wait to be seen. Had an appt. At 9 didnt get seen tell 11 & out of the office by noon...way to long for just a regular exam. Shouldnt be a three hour tour..dont know if they over booked for the day or what? But I will still return for another try.

They wouldnt even set an appointment without knowing which insurance I had. What you have determines how fast youll be seen, I was told. Amazing. Hello WalMart!!
