We could not have asked for better folks to help us along with my mother who was recently ushered into Heaven. To do what these gals did, was obviously a calling and NOT a job. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for the support I received as I took care of Mother her last 7 1/2 weeks of illness. I will be forever grateful to Hospice that my mother did not have to suffer. This group is quite amazing and the girls were selfless, giving so much of themselves to this work. This Hospice uses morphine to help kill their patients. Ive never seen someone suffer as much as my grandmother suffered. You call that "dying with dignity"?? I call it bullshit! Heartless, cold people that dont give a damn!! Thats what hospice is! And to think I actually listened to these people and did as they told me to do! I feel like a fool just for being there! And even worse, I blame myself everyday. I did what hospice told me to do and it killed my grandmother before she was ever ready to go! Tell me how dignifying that is.
