These people are highly suspect when one of their employees tells the client she was accused of stealing from a patient and makes light of it. It was "costume jewelry." She also commented on the nice household items and how much she liked them. Tacky and unprofessional. Its about the care of the patient, I question her ability to care for my sister n law, if she is more interested in casing the house. Great lakes was told NOT to send her to the house again, their reaction was well we may have to. So apparently they dont have staff. I am curious if they are truly licensed. If they send her, which they better not, she will never be left alone anywhere in the house and 911 is ready. They did not send anyone like they said they would either, constant calling to get someone in. Dont use these people. Minus 5 stars.

One star awarded, but only because ZERO stars were not an option. Great Lakes failed to deliver a hospital-type bed for a terminal 102-year-old patient who was returning home from the hospital. The bed had been promised at 7:30 PM, then in "about an hour," and then "in 45 minutes." After no bed arrived, the caregiver contacted Great Lakes, only to be told that "we have no bed available." Very poor service, obvious lack of communication within the company. Great Lakes is NOT recommended.

Didnt want to use them again but my brother wanted to give them another chance. Not dependable at all. Have to call for updates and just make there own schedule and blame you if not available on their schedule. Never will use again. I am sure you get that Medicare check.
