If I could give no stars, I definitely would. I was so astounded by how horrible the staff and Doctor Islam treated his patients and parents. Let me tell you about my experience. 1. He does not know very good English to begin with. 2. The front desk lady, is so rude its ridiculous. 3. You have to wait FOREVER. 4. My daughter had a clogged tear duct which turned into a horrible infection because he would not treat her. Said we were smoking in the house, which none of us smoke. 5. She had bad allergies, and once again, accused us of smoking around her. We dont smoke. 6. He had a replacement doctor when we had our appointment when he was out of the country, and I was not made known of it. 7. The replacement asked me how old I was, when I answered him he asked if I was married to her father and I said not yet. Then he continued to tell me that my daughter was sick because God was punishing me for living under the same roof as a man without being married. He continued these remarks our entire appointment. I was so disgusted by the time it was over, I sat in my car and cried because I had never been talked to so rudely. Especially somebody who is supposed to be taking care of my child. Not concerning themselves with me. It is the worst pediatrician I had ever dealt with and I have friends who have stopped going here also because this place is so screwed up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

Do not come here if possible. Office workers have horrible phone etiquette, completely unabashedly rude, everytime I walked into the office the front desk worker has a sour face and bad disposition. I could hardly understand what the doctor is saying half the time bc of his accent and tendency to mumble. My 22 month old daughter had a minor fall and I took her right away, thinking we would get x rays--he assumed bc I didnt see the fall it could be a disorder or disease instead of an injury??!!!! My husband and I were freaking out with worry bc of him--It took a 2 weeks to FINALLY get the appropriate x rays bc he didnt even order her entire leg t be x rayed the first time & missed it. We went to a specialist and she was ultimately diagnosed with a non displaced fracture of the tibia. If he would have done x rays as I suggested the first visit we would already be out of the cast. Now she has this cast for 3 weeks after walking around in pain for two weeks bc he refused to listen. Tried to give him the benefit of a doubt as a qualified pediatrician, but he is just. not. good. He is incompetent, and obviously does not care or make an effort to hire appropriate staff. If you want someone you trust with your children go elsewhere. Weve already changed.

If I could give this man a negative star I would. I came to hime straight from the hospital as a first time mom. He was the only doctor who had seen my daughter besides the onessential at the hospital. At about 6 months I noticed my daughter wasnt meeting her milestones and told Dr islam that I think he should refer her to a neurologist. He declined and said shes just behind come back next month and he will check her. The next month came and he was conveniently on vacation without letting me know. The fill in Dr immediately noticed my daughters abnormalities and referred her to ECI an orthopedic surgeon and a neurologist. Turns out my daughter has a disability and if it werent for the fill in doctor I would have never known until way later.

Dr. Islam was referred to me by one of my friends. I am a young mom with that being said every time we were in the office he would ignore my questions regarding my daughter, and if I would repeat myself he would laugh almost as if I was asking a stupid question. As a parent I was obviously curious as to what and why my daughter needed certain treatments. It would take multiple tries to receive the correct treatment for my daughter something simple as a cold. the staff there were not kid friendly at all they never interact with my daughter to make her feel comfortable, she was always scared to go in.

Some reviews complain about the wait. Ill respond to those by saying its a dr. Office. Inevitably youll be waiting because each patient visit requires attention to different areas. Dr. Islam is great. Hes simple, direct, and helpful. Ill keep bringing my son to him because I trust his perspective and respect his method of practice. My one complaint is the office was rather warm. And the room we used to nurse had half a dozen chairs in there (their in rough condition and could really be disposed of) and the room seemed less than sanitary for a germ freak mom like myself.

Dr. Islam is very very gentle and nice. I do not, however, like his office or office staff. I had to wait 1.5 hrs one time just to get a shot from the medical assistant and did not need to see the DR. I could have been pulled back, the shot given to my daughter, and we could have been in and out. There was always poor time management every time I went. the medical assistant also has very poor intra-personal skills. There is no value surrounding parents and their children at this practice.

We were given Dr. Islams name from our insurance provider since our spcial needs son, who has turned 18, got bumped by his pediatrician. Made the call and found out he doesnt take new patients over the age of 18. So we are back at square one...on the phone with his insurance provider looking for someone who can do blood work and see a young adult in Collin County.

I wouldnt recommend this doctor office to anyone because they over book there appointment, staff is very very rude. Make appointments and youre not seen when youre suppose to be seen. Gets you in the back and you sit for an hour and half before doctor comes in. Bad doctor office.

This office is horrible I called in concern to a medical problem and was treated horribly. The front office is so rude and disrespectful. Do not waste your time with this office and any one in it. Never have a been treated so rudely by a front office.

Staff is great always respond quickly, their always accommodating, and get the sick kiddos in quickly. For the 11 years that Ive been bringing my kids here the wait times have never been bad, not to mention doctor Islam is very thorough.

Dr. Islam was actually recommended to us by the Medical Center in McKinney when our youngest child was born. He is a very knowledgeable pediatrician, and his soft spoken nature works well with babies and infants.

Hes taken great care of my 4 kids over the last 12 years. Two are over 18yrs-old now and did not want to select a family doctor. They love Dr. Islam. Hes knowledgeable, caring and professional.

Anytime I ask for a referral or for them to fax something, they say they will and never do. The staff is rude and impersonal.
