This location is by far the worst CPL I have been to in this area. I had 2 big issues with them, which were both costly and dangerous. The first one, from the best that I can remember, was on September 23rd. The wrong lab tests were run and I didnt get the results until the next day, despite the need for urgency clearly stated on the lab slip. Unfortunately certain levels had dropped dramatically and there was the potential that I could have had a very bad thing happen had we found out much later. This was the point at which I vowed to not go back to that location unless there was truly no other choice. The second is something I just found out about. On October 14th and on November 4th, I had to return to that location because of a scheduling and transportation issue and it was my only option for those days. I recently received 2 bills in the mail - one for $296.75 and one for $151.25. When I called to find out why I owed this money, I found out that this location never indicated that I had insurance, despite the fact that I have given my insurance information on a number of occasions and I always verify it with them. In addition to these issues, they rarely are able to locate my electronic lab records (even though my doctors office told me to tell them where to look), theyre consistently rude, and frequently running late. Im consistently shocked at their incompetence and feel that something finally needs to be said, because its dangerous, expensive, and stressful.

Be afraid. Be very afraid of this place. Shocking incompetence and indifference. Unbeknownst to me I had ulcerative colitis. My doctor needed an O&P before a colonoscopy. I submitted my stool samples to this lab promptly. A week and a half later, no results. Called my doctor’s office. They called the lab on Monday. No information. On Wednesday the doctors office called again and discovered the samples were lost. I resubmitted them on a Friday. The next weekend was July 4th pushing my results into the following week so the loss of my sample meant about a 2 week delay getting treatment. When I had my colonoscopy, the doctor immediately admitted me and said I should have been admitted 2 weeks earlier. It was touch and go that I would lose my colon. Fortunately and no thanks to this lab, I did not. I should find a lawyer and look into suing them for egregious malpractice.

Typically use Quest but doctor sent me to CPL. Figured how bad could it be despite the reviews. Got there 10 minutes after it opened with two people in front of me and it took 20 minutes to call me because only one person was at work (apparently two others were late). They told me I had to wait another hour because I had to be awake two hours for the lab, which was not on any instructions. I waited about 75 minutes total before they got to me but the person who took my blood had different instructions than the first person. Still not sure they got it right. Just very sloppy and poorly run.

Incompetencia TOTAL

No AC and no attempt at making it cooler with fans. Not even an explanation as to why the AC is not working or off. Very busy and crowded but I can understand that because its a Saturday. But the AC out in a place of business with this many people sitting in there is unacceptable. The Phlebotemist was sweating and scrubs were wet. On the positive side all staff was friendly and the blood draw was painless and even though it was crowded they cleared the waiting room very quickly. I was there for 25 minutes. So would have given 4 stars if AC was working.

I keep getting bills that I say I owe them money when the doctors office is suppose to be billed for. No matter how many times I call them AND get my doctors office to call them, the same bill keeps getting sent to me. 3 or 4 times of them telling me "ok this is cleared out your doctors office will be billed for this NOT you" and the bills keep coming...hopefully that last time the CPL representative on the phone actually took care of it.

Extremely poor/nonexistent information sharing between sites means your doctors order is not transferable and youre locked into one specific site. This begs the question: why have multiple sites? Perhaps they should consolidate and spend the additional savings on IT infrastructure and development.

On most visit the staff are either grumpy or nervous. Both of which make me uncomfortable when they are about to stick a needle. Further, the building is old. For example, they have not fixed the toilet seat in the only bathroom since I started coming to this location over a year ago.

I waited for over an hour after "Registering in" to have a routine blood drawn. I was so frustrated when person after person who came in after me went to have their blood drawn that I left. BEWARE and know that if you go to this place, your experience could be similar.

sometimes understaffed, I still find this to be the fastest In-out CPL location. It is not shiny and new which might bias The reviews, but staff has always been professional, and VERY good at sticking me. This is my goto Ioc. for 20 + years

What can I say? They are stabbing me with a needle and taking my blood. They analyze it and send it to my doctor. Sometime there is a long wait, half hour. Sometimes I get there early and I am the first one. So far so good.

They did the wrong blood test. The building is run down and the staff was not professional. If you are looking for a comfortable place that will do your blood draw correctly, you should go to another lab.

The staff was helpful and nice. The wheelchair entrance is a bit of a challenge but these medical buildings are from the 50s and 60s. Great location for UT with lots of parking. 5/7 Ill eat there again.

We arrived at 9AM and my daughter wasnt seen until 10:30 AM. The nurse/intake person skipped us. She apologized for the delay, but Im upset that she overlooked our paperwork. Very unprofessional.

The staff in the billing department are rude, condescending and make no effort to find a resolution for any problem or question you may have. Avoid this company if you have a choice.

Getting blood drawn is no fun at all but CPL made it virtually painless! I was in and out in 10 minutes with a very friendly staff.
