I went in with a BAD virus that I had for 3 weeks. I wanted to make sure it wasnt worse than that, so I had blood work done. The only thing that came up positive was my ANA readings. They then decided to scare the living day lights out of me by telling me they think I had Lupus and wanted me to go to a Rheumetologist. I was so bummed and scared. I went to a Natural Store and told the woman my symptoms. She told me it sounded like a bad virus and gave me Black Walnut Hull and D3. Two days later I was good as new. I hate how doctors basically just guess (my symptoms were fever and body aches which can be associated with SEVERAL things) and then because they are so scared of law suites, they tell you the worst possible scenario. Lupus is NOT a fun auto immune disease! I then called back the next week because I forgot about a trip I was going on and needed altitude sickness pills. They refused to prescribe me any even though I had just been in the week before and wanted to see me again. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! Its altitude sickness pills!!! Not hydro! So now they want me to spend $135 to come in, sit in an office and tell them I need altitude sickness pills. Wow! Terrible service! They already have all my vital signs, blood pressure readings, etc. which were all perfectly normal. Even my temperature was normal when I went to see them when I had the virus. SOOOOO DUMB and Im furious.

I loved this place when I first moved to Georgetown, they were very caring and really listened to their patients. Ive been a patient for 6 years. It seems that now all they are starting to care about is just the most amount of people they can get to make more money, they will cram apppintments making them 10-15 mins apart, no wonder they dont have time to listen to any problems your having. A lot of the staff I interfere with just seem unhappy and miserable. I come in for an appointment and the doctor is referring to my son as a girl, I correct her telling her my sons a boy and she completely ignored me continuing to refer to him as a girl. Now they seem to be in such a rush they dont genuinely try to listen to your concerns or questions and make you feel like you dont know what your talking about or ignore you. I even refered a friend to this clinic a couple month ago and she had a horrible first experience. The lab downstairs is horrible and unprofessional. A couple years ago I wouldve rated this place 5 stars but Ive had to go here several times this last year and every time is just a miserable experience, its just not worth it anymore. Im looking for a new family doctor.

My husband became a patient after my initially visit when I went home and gave him rave reviews about Dr. Chuo, Vicky, the Patient Representative, Dr. Chuos assistant Anna, and the rest of the staff. I expected to wait and wait, but when I walked into the immaculate facility, I was immediately warmly greeted by Vicky and promptly registered. I then thought I would got sit in the waiting room and wait to be escorted to the back; however, instead, I was about to sit and Anna called me before my bottom could hit the chair. Anna completed my vitals and history, and once again thought, well I will have to wait for Dr. Chuo to come in to begin my exam, but no sooner than Anna walk out the door and before I could get my phone and do some work, Dr. Chuo came into warmly greet me. Not only was he a warm friendly face, he also was very thorough and listened to my questions and answered without condescension. It is difficult to believe I would ever think a doctors visit was the highlight of my day. Soon after my husbands initial visit a week later, he concurred.

Had a stopped up ear that wasnt bad enough to go to the emergency room but bad enough I needed to see a physician ASAP. Went in to the clinic on Tuesday after the 3 day memorial weekend. Got there around 7:15 AM and there was a receptionist already on duty. She said they no longer take walk-ins but would see if someone was available that day to see me. As it turned out, Dr. Bohmfalk, my Primary Care Physician, was already there and he immediately came out and took me in. My stopped up ear was taken care of and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Everyone, from the receptionist to the nurse and to Dr. Bohmfalk, was exceptional. They treat you with personal care no matter what the issue is, urgent or if youre going for a routine physical. Im sure there might be times when things are less than I have described, but I would highly recommend Georgetown Medical Clinic.

I have been going to Dr. Spitler for several years now. She is very professional and thorough, covers each area of concern, offers your best options, then lets you decide the way to handle your issues. She listens; She does not rush questions or treatment. She treats me with respect and kindness. She has helped me with heart issues, stomach issues, etc. and referred me to specialists that were also very professional. My health is better than it has ever been and we are working to keep it as such! The office is clean, the staff is courteous and greets you with a smile, her nurse is courteous and personable. Wait time is short. Dr. Spitler is the only Doctor I have ever had, that smiles and looks you in the eyes when she greets you! And, ladies, it is nice to have a woman physician, who understands our bodies!! I cannot say enough good things about this physician!

Dr. Florence Spitler is without a doubt the BEST doctor I have EVER had. I am 57 years old and have many issues and have been to many doctors in my life. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable , patient , listens to you , makes suggestions , and you can really tell she cares about you as an Individual Person and not just a patient or number. My wife and I both Love her and been seeing her for about 9 or 10 years. I hope and PRAY she never retires or leaves before I am gone as I would hate to try to find a doctor I like as much as her. I have some SPECIAL needs and she is willing to work with me patiently on them. Thank you Dr. Spitler and staff. Roger A. Crowder Jr.
