While I liked Dr. Guerra in person, I cant recommend her, as I feel her practices take advantage of patients. I went to Dr. Guerra for a physical as a new patient. In the course of the appt, to explain why I take the medication I do and what Im looking for in my yearly labs and because its a part of my general health, I mentioned a health issue, and we discussed it for a few minutes. At the end, she recommended I make a follow-up appt to discuss it further. TEN months later, I get a bill for a copay, due in 7 days. I called her office and was informed that because I discussed something beyond "wellness" at my physical, she marked it as a second, separate appointment. This means that during our conversation, Dr. Guerra decided we were crossing out of "annual physical" territory, and yet decided not to say anything, knowing it would lead to me being double-billed. I understand having a limit on whats discussed at a physical, but I certainly didnt think Id crossed it, and for Dr. Guerra to encourage the conversation without a hint that she would charge me extra for it is exactly the kind of taking advantage that scares people off from the doctor in the first place. When I called her office to ask about the charge, they twice told me theyd call back and didnt. They ultimately refused to reconsider it. My insurance says this is allowed but that doctors are really supposed to say something first because otherwise it comes off as tricking people. Find another doctor, or at the very least tell her that she had better warn you before she answers a question shell charge you extra for.

Dr Guerra has been absolutely great. She helps with SO many different things and really cares about the direction of my LONG-term health and not just what I came in that day for. Having changed from ARC, I feel like I have a real health consultant instead of just a turn and burn that I would get from any given Dr at ARC. I cant recommend her enough. Love this DR!

The best doctor Ive ever had in my life. She really listens, explains clearly how shes thinking of approaching an issue, and why, and takes a preventative approach to health, which I really appreciate. Her staff are wonderful too and always go the extra mile. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love Dr. Guerra. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. But what makes her so special is that she really cares. Id miss her terribly, but what Dr. Guerra really needs to be doing (for the world) is training other primary care physicians to be just like her.
