I have been an Austin Hear patent for many years. My primary care is received from Steve Mickelson PA. This professional is an outstanding member of the team at Georgetown. Steve works with Dr. Robert Denyer and they make a truly wonderful team. I had a health issue just after flying into Chicago and was hospitalized for 2 and a half days. I had many tests and a ran up a bill of $40,000 dollars I was sent how with a disk of test results and was told the Hospital and their doctors did not know why I had a problem. Steve Mickelson put the disk in the computer and spotted the reason for my health issue in less than a couple of minutes and this from a chart and not from a test result. Having had 26 years of heart care, these two people are top of the list and have / are treating 3 generation of my family with care, compassion, and professionalism. Anyone needing Cardiac care could not find a better team.

Dr. Garland is a super Doctor! Has cared for me for 17 years. I had previous history of CAD and an angioplasty. He has managed my meds & saved me a stroke by discovering a carotid artery blockage. I was very impressed when initial appointment was postponed because he was in an ambulance, escorting a another patient to the heart Hospital of Austin 35 miles away for emergency surgery. He listens, is warm, caring, and gives sage advice. The staff and facilities are great. Everything is commendable, except that he is moving on. You wont find a better doctor.

Dr. Henderson is an exceptional Dr. I was greeted warmly first by his nurse & am so sorry I dont remember her name. Then by Dr Henderson who immediately put me at ease, He explained how he wanted to proceed medications used for treatment and the differences allowing me to choose one. He was professional and yet so warm and friendly. If you need to see a cardiologist you will not be disappointed by choosing Austin Heart Georgetown or Dr. Henderson.

Last week, I had somewhat of a high blood pressure emergency. Even though this was a Monday holiday, Austin Heart scheduled an appointment that morning with Dr. Michael Henderson. Dr. Henderson is relatively new to the staff in Georgetown, but was everything that you want to have in a physician. He is intelligent, very polite and a good listener. I was pleased with his understanding of my situation, his diagnosis and his plan of treatment.

Never have had to wait any length of time to be called into exam room; they know their jobs and do it as fast and efficiently as possible. I have been going to Austin Heart, Georgetown since moving here in 2005. Dr. Robert Denyer and Steven Mickelson, PA-C are very professional, caring, thorough and have a genuine interest in providing the best care possible. The entire staff is extremely helpful in scheduling, very friendly and a pleasure to interact with in the office. Very highly recommend Austin Heart!
