I went here a couple of years ago for an appointment regarding anxiety. I asked not to be prescribed Xanax or anything similar. I left with an Rx for Klonopin, not knowing what it was. When I went home and researched I found that it is a more potent sedative than Xanax. While the staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable, they clearly did not listen to me at all. Then sent me a letter saying that I would need to pay an annual fee to remain a patient. I have to pay an extra fee, beyond insurance premium and copay, coinsurance, etc. AND my appointments are timed? No. I have since found a PCP that asks questions (not just an anxiety/depression questionnaire on a tablet.) She took the time to find out the cause of my anxiety and prescribed and SSRI rather than just trying to sedate me. I only ended up needing the medication for a few months because we both believe that medication is not appropriate as a long term remedy for a short term problem.

This place used to be wonderful. In fact, when I first started with them a few years ago I wrote a raving review about my experience. I hadnt experienced such personable care before. Slowly, it began to take on the characteristics of a typical over booked doctors office. Its easy to tell the front desk staff and nurses are unhappy too, as their once friendly smiles and cheerful attitudes are non existent. If the nurses and administrative staff are not happy, it sets the tone for the rest of the practice (regardless of how great the doctors are). I miss the good ol days. Bring back those original doctors and keep your nurses and administrative staff happy. Otherwise, nothing sets this place apart from the typical doctors office down the street.

I am very unhappy with my experience. I have been going to this office for 6 years and it seems like things have recently changed, and they have become money hungry. I went in for an annual appointment and because I spoke about something that the provider did not consider to be an “annual appointment” concern the office charged me for two visits when I only had one. In the past my prescriptions were always refilled during my annual appointment, but this year I was told I need to schedule a separate appointment, thus being charged for a third appointment when in the past it was all taken care of at one appointment. All of these charges are on top of the medical home fee and with insurance. I am finding a new doctor ASAP.

Ive only been to the office one time, and then paid the quarterly charge for a year... which was supposed to guarantee quality care and a schedule that wasnt over-booked. I called to get in when I was very sick, and they didnt have time for me. The receptionist asked me what I thought it could be, and assessed from there that I should just go to urgent care -- but I dont know what I have because Im not a doctor. I dont know why I was paying that fee to be dismissed. They should have some flexibility for sick appointments. Im changing my primary doctor right away.

I went in once and didnt have an issue with the service provided. However I know that if I were to return, I would have to pay a medical home fee. Which is like an annual membership fee so they can provide more exclusive care, I guess. If the fee didnt exist, I wouldnt have an issue going back but there was nothing spectacular about my initial visit. It was a pretty much what I would expect from any clinic. So if you, like me, were wondering if this place is worth the home fee (and I would have been open to it), the answer is no.

This doctor office is different. They take the time to individualize treatment rather than just prescribe something to deal with one symptom. For example, Dr. Westin takes the time to try and determine root causes and behavioral changes that can improve or resolve issues. Not being rushed in and out makes all the difference.

The practice has changed the way they conduct appointments and the practitioners set out a timer while they are talking to you. I am a more complex patient and I had to come in for two separate appointments due to their time constraints.

I have been a patient here for over 7 years and I dont plan on changing. The Doctors are very knowledgeable, have great bed side manner and I always walk out feeling better and confidant about my health. I highly recommend it.

My wife has been here for her annual visits and for allergy needs. Overall they are ok. She still has allergy issues that they have not determined the cause of, but they are helpful in getting in sick emergencies.

They no long listen to what you have to say. I had concerns about my health that were ultimately ignored and brushed to the side. Use to love this place but now it has changed for the worse.

I have been going for two years and found the staff kind and knowledgeable. They take extra time if needed. There is an additional fee for this convenience, however.
