Ive been seeing chiropractors on and off for about 10 years. Ive also been a massage therapist for years, so my ability to assess good therapy vs not so good therapy is rather solid. I must say, price aside, that these are great chiropractors at this location. I first saw Dr. Barras for a rib being out of place, and other times for a different rib or a cervical (neck) vertebrae being misaligned. He found them, got them back in their proper place, and I was out of pain within 24 hours...super short time frame, considering I was in pain for days or weeks before going in to see him. Another thing to note is that Im skeptical about trying new people for anything (haircuts, massages, chiropractic work, etc.) because, unfortunately, there are too many people in every profession that just shouldnt be in that profession...in other words, those people arent good enough to be called a professional or an expert. But in an effort to be open minded, I thought Id give it a try. So, subsequent visits, I saw Dr. Fisher and Dr. Kat. I was pleasantly surprised by and very appreciative of their abilities. Each of these three chiropractors have a slightly different approach in their techniques and treatments, but they are all very skilled in their craft. To find chiropractic therapy at a reasonable price is a challenge. Finding skilled chiropractors is an even greater task. Finding reasonably priced chiropractic therapy that coincides with highly skilled chiropractors seems impossible. But the impossible became a reality at this location.

I started going to this location when it first opened. I had been going to the first location in South Austin for about three years but this one is closer to home. At first it was great. The doctors were personable and acted like they cared about the way you feel. Since they lost Dr. Lee to the new location in Round Rock, the quality of service has gone way down. They treat you like cattle. Get on the table, get adjusted, go away, youre holding up my line. I hate driving to Round Rock but now I probably will just to see Dr. Lee because she was always excellent. If you dont have insurance, this is a very good option for chiropractic care. If you do have insurance, go somewhere else or go see Dr. Lee in Round Rock. The irony is now Im paying more per visit for less quality. Get your act together, The Joint. I used to love you. Now I cross my fingers hoping there will be a doctor in the house who will take the time to shake my hand and say, "Hi, how are you? How are you feeling? What seems to be the problem?" And when hes done, make sure everything is good, shake my hand, look me in the eye and say, "Thank you!" How simple is that? Dont treat me like an animal despite my massive beard.

Wow, worst treatment, staff and service I have ever received. I went in for a simple adjustment and two days later I couldnt get out of bed. When I called and asked for a partial refund I was given the run-around, huge attitude and they argued with me saying I had an evaluation when that is that is not the case. I went in filled circles a picture on a diagram asking "what my complaint was" they asked me where it hurt, and diagnosed me that way. How is this even proper procedure? In total I was probably in the office less than 5 minutes per a visit. RUDE, ATTITUDE, QUACKS, THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! I DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID!

About all my GP could do was prescribe painkillers, steroids or muscle relaxants. Dr. Renee and Dr. Le resolved my problem in a few weeks. They were both very friendly and professional. I also take my son to them. Hes 8 and was frightened of getting adjusted. Dr. Renee managed to get him to enjoy it. He hadnt even realized he was in pain or discomfort until the doctors at the Joint helped rid him of it. Now, hes a much calmer, more laid back kid. And the price is right. Its actually less than my insurance co-payment would be at a traditional chiro office.

I went to see them on a whim, just desperate to try anything to help with migraines. I had already seen my PCP and a neurologist who really could not do anything except prescribe medication. With in a few months my headache frequency was very low, and now I almost never get migraines. Dr Renee is AMAZING- she immediately picked up on things going on in my neck and shoulders that I had been trying to have treated through the traditional MD route. If you have any hesitation- just go try it once- they have many different plans and there is no sales pressure.

This is my alternate location - I usually work with Dr Lara but sometimes I cant head south -recently been dealing with a lower back issue and was able to get in here to see the Drs and have been very satisfied with the service. The only problem is that because youre in and out so quickly its also easy to not get to know anyone. I bought the monthly plan and its great to be able to plan on an adjustment a week. Really like the concept and the people.

Ive been a massage therapist for 32 years, took ballet for 17; so my chiropractic needs arent of the every day variety. Dr. Fisher listens to my complaints; then adjusts his treatment, so that it fits my issues. I thought Id pulled a muscle in my low back; but after he adjusted the torque in my hips, the pain disappeared! I recommend Dr. Fisher and The Joint to every client I treat.

Dr. Barras was great! He explained everything, answered all of our questions, he was super nice also the front desk staff was very nice. They called us next day to check how we were doing. Nice experience we are definitely coming back :)
