Most horrible dentist office I have ever been to. Its a shame, because I decided to try the Royal Dental location in Baytown, because of my positive experience at their Woodforest and Uvalde location several years ago. Its hard to believe this is the same company! They were extremely rude during the whole visit. My appt was at 2pm but I didnt get seen until around 3:15. The dental assistant was the most rude of every employee there. After I sat in the room, patiently waiting for over another hour, the "doctor" took a quick look at my teeth and said there was nothing they could do for me because their oral specialist doesnt take my insurance. Now, that is all fine and well...but instead of writing me a prescription to at least help with the pain, they referred me to San Jose clinic (a special needs clinic for people with no insurance) and asked me to leave. I was very upset, because this tooth had been giving me great pain. As soon as I got home, I made an appt with Dr. Barfield in Pasadena and they had me set up for the removal within a week and antibiotics and pain pills until then. (They will get another review-they are amazing!) Lets just say, Royal Dental is a horrible, unprofessional, discusting waste of time compared to Dr. Barfields office. PLEASE do not waste your time.

I will not be going back...I had an appointment at 9 and was told that I was rescheduled for the next day. I told them I received no call nor did I call to reschedule. They over booked so I had to wait over an hour. when called to the back waited about 40mins before my daughter could be seen. When the dr. looked at her teeth for about 1 minute told us that she would need 6 caps and 1 fill... I was like ok. So here Im thinking he will atleast clean ect. to her teeth like most dentists do, but no he said make another appointment. So as Im waiting to make an appointment I find out that I would not be able to be in the room with her while she is having work done on her teeth. That disturbed me because I could here a kid screaming at the top of their lungs the whole time I was waiting in the room, but naturally I thought the parent was in there too. The assistant also told me that she would be wrapped. It did not sit good with me I have been to many dentists myself and had good and bad experiences but my daughter is only 5 and I would like to be with her so she wouldnt be as scared. So the receptionist never payed me any mind until I just rudely interrupted her to give me my ID and Insurance card then I Just walked out and didnt schedule a second appointment.

So I had my appointment to have all four of my wisdom teeth pulled last tues @ 1pm. Waited patiently but not till 5:30 did the office manager call me in his office & tried lying to me that a machine was out. When I wasnt giving up because for one I had already taken vac pay for the rest of the week! Had not eaten since the night before because they say not to eat 6 to 7 hrs before & had already arranged my busy school, work & kids schedule. Not till he seen I was catching on that they were still working on other people did he call the oral surgeon in & he confessed that he was overwhelmed & overbooked and was not physically able to do my procedure. I had been in the ER a week ago for pain from my wisdom teeth so I could not put it off! So, they finally worked me in to another office that was literally an hour away from Baytown!!!! this office has a huge problem with booking.. Talkin to other people that Tuesday this is how it went... Appt @ 10:30, went in at 2.. Appt @ 12, went in around 3:30, Appt @ 12:30, went in almost at 5!!!! They are ridiculous & the office manager is so unprofessional!!!!

Everyone there is nice enough, and there is a fairly long wait time. The office seems clean, but when youre behind closed doors, its not healthy at all. OSHA would have a fit if they witnessed what I did firsthand. I had a working interview there a few years ago, and I was astounded by what I discovered. If you need braces, please go elsewhere. Their orthodontic team did not have adequate instruments, therefor they were reusing the same instruments. They did not have time to run the two sets they had through the autoclave for proper sterilization. Instead they would spray their instruments after each patient. These are not standard sterilization procedures. The spray is for cleaning the chair and counter tops, etc. Spraying the instruments does not sterilize instruments. They can only be sterilized by the use of the autoclave or cold sterile.

HORRIBLE!HORRIBLE!HORRIBLE! So bad that I made an appointment, had to wait weeks and didnt even go. I am a new patient and never been but totally agree that they are rude just by talking to them over the phone. Which is why I didnt go. If you went there and had a good experience, then great for you! But they absolutely will not be getting my money! For the ladies at the front desk, dont keep your day job because you suck at it! I immediately called Jefferson Dental and they accept walk-ins/emergency visits and theyll see you as soon as you make the appointment! The same day!! Just based on customer service give your money to Jefferson Dental!! The receptionist was nice and knowledgeable! My appointment was with Royal today but instead Im going to Jefferson Dental TODAY to try them out for the first time. Ill be back with an update!!!

This place is a joke. My wife tried to call one time to confirm an appointment and a paient answered the phone and said "who diss, I dont even work here". I should have turned and ran at that point but instead bought upper and lower bridges and after paying almost $20,000 asked for a simple bite adjustment and was told "we dont work around your schedule" by the manager Sharon. If anyone is to blame for this places unprofessionalism she is the one. Ill be waging a formal complaint against her with corporate TODAY.

#1-VERY crowded seating #2-felt VERY dirty,the girls were putting pills in pill bottles with NO gloves on. #3-theres 10 people working when no one knows what going on. #4-they think that if you have a appointment at 4:00 they think that its 6:00. NEVER in my life i havent seen a dentists office like this one. When i left i didnt know if i should moo or look for a tag in my ear.MY advice is too drive the extra mile to a Way BETTER dental office.

You could find a more incompetent office but it would be tough. Appointments mean nothing...their scheduling is non-existent. Be prepared to wait in excess of an hour past your scheduled time, and then prepare to wait some more back in the chair. Additionally, they are completely unable to bill you correctly. We have had lost payments, misfiled insurance, and even a claim against our insurance for someone elses dental work.

Horrible!!! Very rude staff Amy P. and unorganized.... overbook appointments and makes you pay up front.. if you have taken any recent xrays be sure to bring them they wont tell u to.. also be prepared for atleast a 20min wait when calling on the phone.. the only thing that takes no time is giving your money i give then 5 stars on that..
