It is obvious that Dr. Kaufman and his staff are making changes to the clinic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Kaufman was compassionate and caring. He took the time to listen to my concerns and prescribed medications that were reasonable in cost and was open to alternative options. I did not get the "up sale" environment that plagues vet offices. Overall, this was a very good experience and I will be returning. Nice to have a down home clinic so close! I look forward to the new environment!!

What a blessing I found this vet. Dr. Kaufman was such a support and kind vet to both my dog and myself. The staff was wonderful as well. I felt comfortable the moment I stepped in. Unfortunately after a hard decision I had to have my sweet dog put to sleep. Dr. Kaufman and staff were so gentle and patient with me and Bolt my dog. They showed such kindness that I will never forget it. This veterinary is the best. I will be forever grateful for everything that they did for my dog. Thank you Startz Vet.

We took our pit bull Isis (queen of Goddesses) for emergency surgery. Everyone was so kind and helpful to us in our hour of need. These people have such kind compassionate hearts. Today we had to make the terrible decision to have our sweet 18 year old cat Jaffa put down. They treated her and us with respect kindness and compassion. I truly cant thank all of these people enough. Best vet i have had the privilege of meeting in my 53 years of life. Thank you so much.

Dr. Kaufman was willing to discuss the details in depth with us and helped us to make the right decisions with regard to her treatment. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

If you are looking for a veterinarian in Canyon Lake, I cant recommend Dr. Kaufman enough. He is skilled, and so caring. We are very pleased with the surgery he performed on our puppy. She recovered quickly, and was back to her old self in days. We now have complete confidence in our veterinarian!
