I do my research before trying to make an appointment. Look up provider through insurance, check out ratings and then call to see if they accept new patients. I get SO tired of unprofessional, rude office personnel. Waited on hold for 10 minutes to speak with someone who was immediately rude. She cut me off the entire conversation. She said they are accepting new patients and I imagine she could hear I was very sick with hardly any voice. Without letting me speak, she started telling me I need to start by verifying they are covered through my insurance. When I told her I did that and attempted to speak again, she cut me off again and said then I need to choose my physician, and I told her I have already done that and as I tried to speak with her again, she cut me off AGAIN and said "Listen. Im trying to explain our procedure to you." I hung up. Thanks but no thank Coppell Family Medical Center. Your first impression is my last impression. On to the 100 other physicians in the area who will likely have much kinder, professional and caring office staff.

I am so upset with the service at this office. I went in for a preventive care well check up as I have for the past 10 years here. I have the same insurance only this time it was $483.61 out of my pocket. They did a lot of extra blood work this time and I kept asking why. The needle missed my vein and the woman dug around until she found it. She then removed it and stuck me again leaving a huge bruise. The discovery was my cholesterol is normal. Duh, my weight, height, and lifestyle is all healthy. Then I mentioned I was going to need a new dermatologist as mine retired. The doctor prescribed medicine for me just in case I needed it. I never filled the prescription because I got an appointment right away. But I got charged $209 for a sick care visit. I came in for a well check up not because I was sick. Why would you charge me for a sick visit too? I get birth control every year and Ive never been charged extra for a prescription. I will not be back and would not recommend to anyone.

This is a tough review to write. I love Dr. Roberson, Leigh Lynde is very good, the lady that draws blood cant be beat, Ive been coming here for several years. The office staff here is subpar - so disorganized and filled with mistakes. I called and left a message for the nurse about my blood pressure being very high the past several weeks, no response. I called a few days later and left a similar message, no response. A week later I called and made an appointment for my annual physical and mentioned the blood pressure concern, no comment on the blood pressure. I waited the 6 weeks and when I went in they had lost my appointment, no sign of it, period. I came back a few weeks later when they could squeeze me in. Its been three weeks since my physical and no contact with the results of the blood work/EKG, I was told they would contact me with the results in a week. Ill have to call them to get. how much more can you put up with this kind of service because you like the doctor?

Incompetence. My wife was referred for an ultrasound to another office. She was told by the US tech that CFMC would follow up with her in 3 days with her results. A week later my wife has to call CFMC to find out what her results are and leaves a message with a live staff member. A day later, she receives a call back from same staff member asking what the message was for again. A second week goes by and Dr. Coxsey calls to say they dont know which ultrasound lab she was sent to and no record can be found with results. My wife paid $693.31 for the visit. This office treats patients like a herd of cattle to collect co-pay fees from insurance companies, but shows no responsibility in actually being organized or showing any sense of empathetic urgency to a patients critical needs. Once we receive her results, were done. We will be finding a new doctor and a new office.

Pretty sad after 20 + years of going here, but their office staff has become so incompetent and rude that I had to find another primary care physician. Dont change your address, it takes them about 6 or 7 times to finally get it right. Dont leave without making them write "Paid in FULL" on your bill...otherwise Medical Edge will bill you for things youve already paid for. (Thats happened twice.) And for heavens sake, DO NOT go there with a full bladder before your appointment for a possible kidney infection. They will tell you that you MUST WAIT until your actual appointment to pee in a cup and they apparently also get their jollies from telling you that in front of everyone in the waiting room. These people have never heard of HIPAA. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY if you care about your privacy and about being treated like a human being.

I visited Coppell Family Medical centers branch location located inside of Market street June of 2012 to get a simple immunization shot. When I visited I paid my in-network co pay which was acceptable at the time. When I received my statement at the end of the month by my insurance provider (Cigna) the immunizations were 100% covered - which was great! When I called the Market Street location to get a refund or creidt they referred me to Coppell Family Medical Center for billing questions which eventually Coppell Family Medical Center referred me to a third party billing company that they use.... To make a long story short after MULTIPLE discussions with this agency including speaking to a director by the name of Abigail there has still been no resolution in receiving my refund... 120 + days and counting.........

Went in for a standard physical as my first experience with medical care in Texas (from Wisconsin). I was appalled by what I saw and experienced. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment time and wasnt called in to be seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time. Spent the entire time in the lobby getting drug commercials crammed down my throat. The nursing staff and receptionist I met with were great. However Dr. Coxsey seemed rather indifferent to my health and well being. She was in the office for less than 10 minutes. 6 weeks later I have not received any communication as to the results of my blood work or physical. That being said, the billing was rather timely. I really hope this isnt representative of the health care industry as a whole in Texas.

Horrible service. I simply needed one TB test and called before to make sure I had the necessary paper work (Im a minor so I figured I would need a consent form). They said nothing else was needed and I could go in that Friday. I get there and they tell me I need to come in on Tuesday of next week. I go Tuesday and they tell me I need a consent form (the very form I specifically asked if I needed but they told me no). They then tell me I can fax it to one of my parents but their fax machine is broken so I go home and fax it to my father. He signs it, faxes it back, and I go back to CFM. Then they tell me it couldnt be faxed. I ended up switching doctors and got my TB test in no time there. tl;dr: It took me one week, five visits to not get what I needed done.
