I have never been to a veterinarians office where the vet was afraid of dogs. I have a boxer that was being well behaved ie not barking or trying to bite. I took all precautions not to let that happen. We sat in the car for almost 2 hrs waiting to be seen then went directly to the room with no issues. The vet tech then came in and we spoke about my dogs issues before taking him to be weighed. At no time did he bark or try to bite anyone. When we got back to the room the vet, Dr. Hinjosa, came in and immediately started berating me about letting my dog bite him and holding his hands in the air. When the vet came in I was holding his collar and leash and as I let go of the collar Tbone starting slowly walking towards the vet to say hi with no signs of aggression. That is when the berating started. Mind you I still had his leash and was holding it very close to the collar. I left crying.

We moved to Corpus Christi needing a vet and I researched Windsor Park Animal Hospital. We decided to take our dog there to be neutered yesterday and I am VERY PLEASED with our experience. Not only did the vet want to meet with me before my dogs surgery, but he also called personally as soon as the surgery was over to let me know everything went well, and met with me when I came to pick up my dog. We were even more surprised when we got home with our dog and saw that they had clipped his nails and cleaned his ears free of charge and I didnt even ask them to. I found their prices very reasonable, as I called other vets prior to my appointment to compare, and they even offer a 10% military/senior citizen discount. I absolutely recommend Windsor Park Animal Hospital, and Dr. Pigott who neutered my dog.

I dont know if your ever going to read this, but Cody Lopez is that my cookie when they put her down? I just saw it today and I am not mad, I just wanted to know how you took a picture. By the way, this is a wonderful place. After they put my cookie down, they sent a letter with paw prints on the beach and it was touching because they all signed and wrote something. So, if you see a picture on their photos of a black shih tzu that was my cookie. Had cherry eyes and died the day we got her a year ago on Feb. 5th. We made it comfortable for her, just like Windsor Park did.

I took my dog here a week ago. After a bunch of tests, the vet tells me she has hemmoraghic gastroenteritis and sends me home with meds. Now,a week later, she has passed away because she actually had pyometra. I am heart broken. I trusted he knew what he was doing even though I told them she didnt have diarrhea or blood in her stool which is the main symptom of hge. Out of all the tests he did he couldnt think to do a sonogram knowing she was an older dog.

This was the best place to take animals. I was so sorry when we moved away and we have yet to find a place as compassionate and competent as Windsor Park. I did not realize how great a place it was until I have tried others with our pets. They (Windsor Park) took care of all our dogs and bird - and here in the Austin area, weve "yet to find you." I sure miss the great care we received when we lived in Corpus Christi.
