First time visit with my cat. I had an idea of what was wrong (abscess or impacted anal gland) and called ahead to price them out. They seemed to be moderately priced. The tech told me over the phone what the usual procedure was if I was correct, gave me an itemized and approximate total, and thats exactly what I spent. A very straight forward visit with no surprise fees or extra charges for things I didnt need. It doesnt seem important, but I really liked how they had two waiting areas separating cats from dogs. I went during their walk-in hours of 2-5pm on a Tues and was in and out in maybe 30 mins. And considering this required a quick surgery, albeit a simple one, thats still pretty fast. I was there right at 2 and was the first person for walk-ins, but even if I had been 2nd or 3rd in line it wouldnt have been a long wait. I suppose this is a benefit of a small clinic with, Im assuming, only one vet. The vet techs were very nice and professional. Dr. Belcher was honest, informative, and a very nice man. I definitely got a good vibe from this clinic. If I werent moving from Corpus, Id definitely make Dr. Belcher my regular vet.

I took an outside cat there to treat skin disease. Left him there a week to get treated. I was told hes doing good while he was recovering there, and that he needed to stay there for one more week for full recovery. Shouldve never trusted what they said because when picked him up he was just skin and bones, not even close to what Ive been told. They treated the skin disease but poor thing died the next day from being malnourished:( He looked ten times worse from when I took him in. They dont seem to care much about the stray animals even if you pay for treatment. Dont leave your pets there for recovery ever! My mistake was trusting them blindly, I never shouldve have left him there ...

Not much of a review but I do like the place. All I do here is buy flea medicine, but the staff is friendly and unlike other vets I dont have to have the vet see my dog every time I want a flea pill. The flea medicine itself is slightly more expensive than at other clinics, but considering I dont have to make an appointment its actually cheaper over all. I dont know if theres a price difference if the vet actually sees your pet. However, the person at the front is always polite and friendly even though Im not a regular client which is, sad to say, rare at vet clinics.

I found three dogs running thru the streets, drove to Belcher and the young lady came out to my truck so that I wouldnt have to "attempt" to bring all of them in. I thought that was awesome. Later, after calling and getting nowhere with the numbers on the microchips, another young lady on the phone called Home Again and got information that I was unable to get. From there I was able to get the facility that implanted the microchip and get a name and number for the owners. Thanks to Belcher and Facebook for getting these pups back home to their family!!

I came here for an initial free check up after adopting my dog from the humane society. The vet here is extremely friendly! I came back to get medication for flatworms and they had the pills ready to go within the day. I came a third time after my dog was choking on something and they were quick to see Cassidy. He couldnt find anything in her throat and explained things that could.be wrong and just to keep an eye on her and didnt charge me anything for that quick look. I highly recommend this vet for good service and knowledge.

I took my cat in and we were seen immediately. I didnt have an appointment, but called ahead and was advised when walk-ins were accepted. The facility has an area for cats, and an area for dogs. I like that they are separated so the visits arent so scarey for pets.

Overpriced & snobby staff who is not knowledgeable in their professions. Dog was overweight and doctor failed to tell us. Had to visit another vet to get this information. Would highly recommend visiting another vet in Corpus you and your pet will be better off.

Always fast and friendly service. They dont charge you all the ridiculous extras that most vets now charge. Dr. Platt is very knowledgeable and friendly and the lady at the front desk is always pleasant. Dont waste money going to other places in town.

I have taken my dogs there for the past 4 years and I absolutely love the vets! They are very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer any questions you have. I have never had an issue taking both my dogs there. I would recommend it to anyone. (:

We moved to Corpus about 2 years ago and after some research decided to go with Belchers. They are professional and courteous, and Diane at the front can tell you exactly what you need. Very pleased with this facility.
