The staff was friendly and the service was great. They have a sign advertising $60 x-ray and exam. I explained I had a broken tooth and needed the x-ray to see how bad it was. My hours at work were being reduced, and I would soon be laid off. During the xray, I reiterated I could only afford the $60 service. After the exray, they performed a procedure to determine the condition of my gums, I once again said I could only afford the $60 advertised exam. The hygienist continued to reassure me everything was standard. They informed I needed $2500 of dental work, and offered to set me up on a payment plan and scheduled the appointment for a month in advance. I relied with I believe my job is ending, but scheduled it in case I found another job, or in case my job did not end. That one exam was over $500 dollars. My checking account was over drafted by $200, and I am now in collections for over $300. All from one exam that was to be $60.

These folks seem to be "scamming" the insurance and clients for unnecessary services. Just to get a cavity reviewed that their office previously diagnosed, they required 1) a new set of x-rays, 2) a complete exam (including full mouth periodontal), 3) routine 6 month cleaning, 4) additional specialized x-ray (to locate the previously diagnosed cavity, and 5) some random "ice" procedure...even though I told them I wasnt having temp. or pressure related issues at all! When I stated that I preferred to only go thru what was required to determine treatment (filling or root canal) that day, the office manager came into the treatment room and told me to "find another provider". And if they tell you that you need their $700 cleaning procedure thats not covered by insurance every 3 months....RUN to the nearest second opinion!

Dr. Dennis is great and the rest of the staff is very friendly. The location is very convenient, right in front of HEB, and the office is very clean and modern. Dr. Dennis focused on my concerns and there was no discomfort at all.

Not going to this dentist again they said I didnt have cavities well I have 2 I know this because my old dentist told me and I can see these cavities, going back to my old dentist.
