I just have to say that Dr. Hernandez has to be the nicest,most caring vet that I have come across thus far and he will be the only one because we will not be taking our pets anywhere else, we are here to stay. Our poor baby pit had Parvo and when we took him in he gave us all the facts and no promises. He was very straight forward, told us a price and that it would be no more and it actually came out to be less. He made a special trip in on a Sunday and didnt even charge for an office visit, only for the injection that he gave our puppy. He called the following day to see how our puppy was doing and said if no problems arose that he would see us the following week. No extra or hidden charges, no guilt trips of you really need to do this, buy this, get this test done. He gives you the facts and says when you are ready to do such and such just let me know. I am recommending him to everyone I know.

I will never go to another vet as long as Dr. Hernandez is around. Truly one of the most amazing human beings alive. He treated my cat and longtime best friend with such compassion and care when I needed answers about his illness. He was professional and respectful to my baby when I had no other merciful choice on my hands but to put him down, and he let me spend as much time as I wanted with him afterward to say goodbye. After a good few months of healing from the trauma and pain losing him left on my life, I got a Husky puppy as a new companion and I had no other place in mind to take him to. As my dog grew I had all his shots done here at this clinic, and everything else I needed for him. As an animal lover, this veterinarian has earned my lifetime trust. I know he cares about my pet. I would recommend him to everyone.

For many years.. Ive confided in Doctor Hernandez and the staff at AMC, as they have provided me and my furry kids [3 generations now] the best veterinary services Ive known - being the solution to the array of needs we continually have - from the essential pet care services/products - to accurate medical advice and, when necessary, the significant surgeries performed (all with successful outcomes I will add:) . Animal Medical Clinic continually supplies "my family" the high level of care we need and have come to enjoy. We have found our Vet (20+ Years ago - in people years) HERE where there is genuine care • impeccable competence • casual atmosphere and reasonable prices... supported by an honest, straight forward approach and, the all important, compassionate spirit. So, we are going to "SIT-SHAKE-and STAY!¡!"

I have gone to Dr. Hernandez for over 25 years. Even though I have relocated further away from his practice out to the Rowlett area, I continue to go the distance to see him because he has taken wonderful care of my cats and dogs through the years. My daughter even travelled from Fort Worth to have her two kittens declawed there because he had the most reasonable prices in the metroplex. He will always take the time to explain treatment options and always is very kind and thoughtful and has a great sense of humor. I always walked out of his office feeling better than when I walked in.

is what I found in Dr. Hernandez. He understands and cares about the problems that arise from having a pet living in your home, and he takes the time learn about those problems and to give advice on coping with them. This is so much more than the usual routine of heres a lab test, heres what the book prescribes, heres the bill. I told Dr. Hernandez to charge me extra for the time he spent learning about the problems and explaining how to manage them, but he didnt. We have had a much happier family since. As soon as Dr. Hernandez starts doctoring humans, Ill go to him myself.

My family has been taking our animals to Dr. Hernandez for the past 30 years. We consider him part of the family. He is always ready to help. I read one review about him being bad with rescues... All of my dogs are rescues and he has been nothing but kind and compassionate with them. I have one dog who is very skittish due to the fact she was mistreated before I adopted her. Dr Hernandez understands and was extra careful with her while also protecting himself. He has a different since of humor and he loves his Aggies! I highly recommend this vet to anyone. We love him!

If you are driving by this place and blink, youll miss it, but it is one of the most honest and well staffed vets I have ever been to in my life. Every time I come, the staff know my animals by name. I live in Mesquite and go out of my way to come to this shop. Dr. Hernandez really cares about his patients and their owners. Very fair pricing for almost every service this vet provides. He operated on my old beagle that had a breast tumor, and she acted as if she were young again. I cannot recommend them enough!

I most definitely recommend dr.hernandez he took me baby Sadie in on a day she got very sick on me i have been taking my Sadie (german Shepard) to him since the day I got her. To me he seems like he is actually all in for the well being of my fur babies I love him and am so thankful for what he does. Also all of my in laws huskies have been going to him and thanks to him my in laws husky made it after he was fed bacon and made him really sick.

Dr. Hernandez and staff. Thank you so much for helping Boo!!! If you remember, he was a rescue with really bad teeth and his family was going to have him euthanized. Bless his heart! Anyway I took him and brought him to you. You removed all of his teeth. Just wanted you to know he is so happy and just THRIVING. Dr. Hernandez and staff, you are just the BEST!!! The doctor said that my 6mo old dog needed to be "fixed" before giving its vaccines. I couldnt care less for his personal opinion since that was very out of line and untrue.He has lost all my trust and business after years of good experiences with my other dogs. I got charged $45 for nail clipping and a 5min. consult.
