FYI, this is in regards to their primary health care not mental health services. I originally wrote this review in August of 2016. I spent 50+ minutes on the phone being transferred from person to person with Molina Insurance and MetroCare services. Eventually I reached an automated system which said it would transfer me (again) and this time it just hung up on me. So I researched a bit more and my primary care physician (btw, who is actually a nurse, not a physician...is this even legal?!?!?) appears to work at the office on Samuel Blvd which is across town, not at this 1380 River Bend Dr location as indicated by my insurance provider. Its likely a lot of information about this health care providers is innacurate in the insurance companys system but i was told that is MetroCares responsibility. I tried calling the office where I believe my doctor...errrrrr nurse actually works at but it just rang and rang and rang for 15 minutes so I disconnected. For the record, all these calls were made in the middle of the business day.

these people are the most calloused, uncaring so called physicians I have ever encountered. I had previously seen a psyciatrist here who was very good and left for a while and decided I needed to see her again. She quit! I see why. She had me on neurotin and klonopin, both mild drugs for depression and anxiety. I asked to be continued on these. I couldnt even see a real doctor. The nutjob I seen gave me a prescription for respadol, the drug you see in the commercials that screwed all those people up and the attorneys are now looking for plaintiffs. I took one and threw them away. They are worse than thorazine. They make all your muscles tense up and turn you into a zombie. I am a mechanic who has to be able to think. Hell I could barely walk for two days. Stay away from this place if you dont want to be really messed up by a bunch of quacks. Anyone here who is competent quits or gets fired!

Metrocare? CARE? Are you freaking joking?!? The people that work here FAIL at giving you the necessary paperwork to get things done! The women that work here WANT you dead. Or at least they want you dead if you happen to be me, a white woman they dont want to help. Their staff cant even grasp a simple freaking notion: being on a MINUTES PLAN and *can NOT be put on hold*. What do they do? Put you on hold anyway. And when called about a form they FAILED to give you, and you try telling them that youre hallucinating, theyre all like, "Go tell it to the crisis line, we dont give a damn." So this is how MetroCRAP handles suicide risks. Pull their public funding, Texas. Dont worry. Ill oblige all 7 billion of you soon enough. Ive damn well had it with all of you.
