I would never recommend this place to anyone!! We came here as a referral from my sons pediatrician to seek help for him. We make an appointment with Ms. Donaldson herself and she sits down with my husband and I, along with my 5 yr old son at the time. She tells him she will be chatting with him and builds a relationship with him. We set an appointment to have a test done (which we paid for out of our own pocket) on him. Get that done and was told they would contact me in a couple of weeks with the results. 6 wks go by and I hear nothing. I call and they say they have sent it to his pediatrician, which we had no knowledge of. I call the pediatrician and they havent received anything. This goes back and forth for a couple of weeks. All this while we are needing help for our son! There was no compassion. We FINALLY get the call to come in and discuss the results. Come to find out, we arent even seeing Ms. Donaldson herself. She built a relationship with our son and sent us to someone else. Having to explain that to a 5 yr old was hard! We came in to see the other counselor, which we turned to love her. His counselor leaves because she had gotten another job and we get transferred to another person. My son didnt feel close to her and I got no communication. Long story short, he is about to be 8 and his behavior hasnt gotten any better. It has been a VERY LONG 2 1/2 years. After some long hard decisions, we have decided to go some place else where we can see some results. The new person would love to see his test results because he cant believe that they didnt do anything with what was found. I just called to get a copy for the new Dr. and Counselor and they want to charge me to get a copy!! I find this absolutely ridiculous seeing as how we already paid for this test. As if it isnt expensive enough to come in and pay every time because a majority of the counselors dont accept insurance, they want to charge you even more to get copies of stuff that was already paid for. We have enough stress financially and family wise and then to have them nickel and dime you. Not to mention, there is not a family room! I have a 2 year old as well... While waiting for my sons appointment, my 2 year old was being a 2 year old and wasnt being quiet. I tried to give him things to be quiet, but it was just not working this day. They asked me to step outside with him because he was being loud. I had to leave my 7 year old sitting in there by himself to wait for his counselor to be ready. We couldnt sit outside because it was hot that day. I was so upset that I had to leave my son alone, literally crying in my car because of this. If you want a quiet environment, you need to have a family friendly room because sometimes, you cant control small children like that. I understand that it should be quiet, but you need to accommodate to the families that come in there and have a room where people can take their small ones where it will not bother anyone else. I would not and will not ever recommend this place to anyone!! I am the type person that will give chances and chances and try to give the benefit of the doubt, but WAY too many bad experiences to do that with this place.

This is one of the worst places ever. I would never recommend this place to anyone seeking help for their children. I basically paid $300 out of pocket for a consultation and they never met with my son. I had provided them with my insurance and they still wanted to charge me an additional $1000 to do one day of testing on him. I asked if this amount that I would be paying out of pocket would include any therapy session and they told me no. Needless to say was a complete waste of time and money and my son was never met with.

Dr. Donaldson is one of the most caring people I have ever met. She and her staff did everything they could to help us in our time of need. The testing results took a little longer than I expected to get back, but they made sure that our family was taken care of during the waiting period by setting us up with one of their interns for therapy.

Everyone in the office is so wonderful to be around. Dr.Donaldson is an amazing person. She is so nice and sticks with you until you are ready to stop going.
