I WORKED FOR THE MEADOWS FOR 4 YEARS, AND I LOVED IT THERE. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN REAL NURSING SKILLS THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE, THE DIRECTOR OF NURSES, M. CHAMPION WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT NURSING. A TEACHING FACILITY IS THE BEST OF ALL FACILITIES. THE PATIENT CARE IS EXCELLANT, YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH THE UPMOST REPECT AND DIGNITY. THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL AND SERIOUS ABOUT THE PATIENT CARE AND HEALING. They dont know what theyre doing. I have no choice but to forgive you that a place like this exists. Its been a month. No one says suffering is a good thing because its not. Is I live in a room in this building so utterly incomprehensible that you actually cannot simply care about people AND God? Medicine is the antithesis of faith, but you lose your soul if you stop caring about people. 3 years. No friends. I dont need a better map!

Horrible place. Very understaffed. I found my brother without oxygen with his oxygen hose wrapped around him. The worst part was there was a box of morphine on his nightstand that a nurse left sitting there. Her response to me was that she had too many patients to take care of. She was visually shaken and very rude to me. One very cold weekend his heater was not even working. Totally dysfunctional facility.

I was in this facility over a year ago. I found the staff along with the Nurses very helpful and sweet. My room was clean, they have beautiful grounds and nice living areas to visit with your company. The only complaint I have is I got caught feeding the birds but this was my fault. I never could be sneaky and get away with anything LOL God bless all the Nurses there for the selfless work they provide.

This place is just that, ok. Most of the staff members are very nice and helpful, however there arent nearly enough of them. I am constantly having to remind them when medication is due and they end up giving it way after once the pain has set in for my poor grandma. This place is also in need of some major renovation. The sink in our room is literally crumbling and falling apart.

After hearing about the situation and sadness via persons with a loved one at this community... I use to work as a L.E.M. and a Memory Care Coordinator, and an Alzheimers association of the greater DallasTexas advocate... I will be looking into the community and the main company via website..
