This is my second year visiting this Doctor of Optometry. One thing I like about smaller clinics is the one-on-one personal experience you get with your Doctor. That is not something you will get at this office, you will be handed off from one technician to another in assembly line format till you see a doctor, not guaranteed you will see the same doctor twice either. I have come to the realization that the doctors only hire "eye candy" all of the ladies working in this store are younger co-eds that meet some stringent requirement. I would not say they are inept but it seems the management pushes for speed rather than perfection. I have visited the office almost six times in the past two years and one thing for sure is that my wallet can not continue supporting this business. I have complete a cost check of optometrists in my area and this office runs a good 50% higher in price than all the others I have checked with, the only reason I went to them to begin with was my doctor moved to a different area and was no longer covered under my county vision insurance. I have now been waiting nearly a month since my optometry visit to have a trial set of contacts provided and I keep getting the answer that they have not arrived yet. Really? Why do you not keep sizes in stock for trials and emergencies? The one thing I do like about this location is that the technicians and doctors have been friendly to me, they have setup appointments when I experienced an eye injury pretty fast, and I do enjoy the fact they use modern equipment and electronic records. I believe I will be looking for a new doctor really soon.

The new office is very nice, clean and well lit. I brought my son in for an exam. He has been in glasses for about 5 years, so it was not his first time in an exam room. I let him go to the exam room alone. About 45 minutes later, I began questioning the staff as to his location. I was told "give me a moment, I will check", 10 minutes later, (still unassisted) I began wandering around the office in search of my 10 yr old. When I went to the area of the office he had been taken, he was not there. Another staff member stated he had not seen any children back there. I found him; in the gallery, where he stated he had been told to wait for someone to help him. Im glad I found him, Im sure its my own fault for not going in the exam room, but seriously, I think as medical professionals, they should notify a parent when the childs exam was complete. To this day, no one has spoke to me about the findings of the exam. Several weeks later, we still do not have the glasses we ordered that day.

Dr. Trusty is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, extensive eye wear selections and a friendly interacting staff. This gives patients the impression of a happy place and a good working environment. Although many patients love going here, his management style is completely selfish as is the management below him. The flow of employees here cannot be compared to any other working place, especially a place with such "prestige". Sweet talk and community service projects give the impression of a caring heart, but it isnt so behind closed doors. Poorly trained staff with destructive managers who know how to put on a smile is exactly what you have here. Good place to go, terrible place to work. Great place, great equipment, fake people.

We have been seeing Dr. Trusty now for years. This office has watched us grow from a family of 5 to 6 and he has seen most of my children since they were 3 years old. 3 of us currently where glasses.We can all go in the same day and be seen. Walking in with 4 kids tends to throw some offices off. Not this one. 2 of my kiddos have special needs, this doesnt throw anyone off either. One of them having a speech issue, Dr. Trusty was great at figuring out how to communicate with her to know what she was seeing.
