Just finished our first visit, was so grateful for having been referred there that I wanted to share our experience. The first thing I noticed entering FEC was the serene atmosphere. Throughout the visit I kept asking myself why this optometrists office conveyed such a peaceful feeling. I had scheduled exams for three generations. I have worn lens for over 50 yrs and have had cataract surgery in both eyes. I just wanted better acuity, especially for night driving. Dr.Naidoo showed me I could also add bifocal to my Rx. My daughter, whose eyes need a significant (-900) distance correction, had begun to notice the "over 40" need for bifocals. Two of my grandkids, 9 and 12, both needed distance and astigmatism correction. After our thorough exams, my daughter and I were fitted with trial contact lens. My grandson was assisted with his selection of frames. I not only approved his selection because they were stylish and fit his face so well, but also because they were obviously durable. My granddaughter chose frames at another location, even though FEC had several that looked great on her. My daughter and I loved their frames so much we could not decide which ones to get. When we return for our follow up visit to recheck fit and correction, we will get our backup glasses then. One of us had private insurance, one no insurance coverage, and two Medicaid. FOCUSED EYE CARE took care of each one quickly and confidentially. After we had finished, I had an answer to my first question "why was it so peaceful?". Several reasons. The office was bright & cheery, comfortable, and best of all, displayed the latest fashion frames. The support staff was efficient, yet warmly responsive to each patient. Dr Naidoo and Dr. Abraham and staff gave us their undivided, unhurried attention, making us feel gently and expertly cared for. The appointment did not take too long, yet we did not feel hurried as they patiently answered each of our questions. This may sound corny but I would say the office name reflected more than a "catchy" eye theme. Drs Naidoo and Abraham gave us their complete FOCUSED attention and CARE. That’s so rare these days, when everyone seems hurried and harried. No wonder it felt so peaceful !

I had a really good experience when I first went in. Sophia the receptionist was great to work with. The eye doctor was also great. Everything was great up till looking for glasses. Kevin, came across as a very rude person. Everyone was in their own world and didnt seem to care about the service I received at their place. The person that did all the tests before I saw the doctor was also very disappointing. Not a word till I got to the doctor. Not very friendly or talkative. Kevin made the experience the worst! I dont think I would ever recommend any of my family or friends after receiving the service I did with staff on floor. There seemed to be no kind of rapport with the staff. I almost felt like I was at Walmart looking at glasses. All Kevin seemed to care about is pick a pair of glasses, let me see what the cost will be, make a decision, pay me my money and leave. I felt very rushed. Like I said.... DOCTOR ABRAHAM WAS GREAT! The receptionist was wonderful as well everyone else ruined the experience. Will not be returning!

Its my first time in about 7 years to see a optometrist. So I was slightly nervous. The front reception were professional and efficient. They answered all the questions I had about insurance and the like. The technician as warm and personable, smiled and made me feel more comfortable as she explained everything. Dr. Naidoo was the best for what I required. In her caring demeanor she described everything, she took her time, and she listened to my concerns and addressed them all individually. Im very uneasy about my eyes, but this group of ladies all made me rethink things and consider trying contacts (I hate touching my eyes). While I probably still wont go every year, I will make sure they are the ones I go to when I do.

This practice is top-notch. Ive seen them grow over the past 3 years. They have continued to stress customer satisfaction. Dr Naidoo is a class act and truly has taken her time with me. I wish there were more docs like her but wishing is only a dream. She really sets a higher standard of care. Her office is growing and I am excited that I am already scheduled for my appointments. I have received 3 pairs of glasses since their office opened and every pair has been fitted properly. The optician Mrs Rachel is awesome! She loves her job and you can see it when come to the office. They need to keep her! There are not many people like her out there. Love this place. Cant wait until I see Dr Abraham.

I cant disagree more with the review about Kevin being rude. He stepped up and made sure everything I needed was taken care of. The staff are as friendly as they come. My whole family goes there and it has been a great experience. I rarely leave any reviews for anything. I made it a point to let everyone that reads these know, it is the place to get your eyes checked. They will take care of you. Kevin was all about making my experience the best and his knowledge was fascinating to hear. Rachel is also very sweet and will tell you everything you need to know. Lets not forget the doctors. They will give you all the time you need to answer any questions you have. They want to make sure you are happy.

Dr. Abraham is knowledgeable, friendly and informative! I was a wreck when I learned my 4yo needed glasses but not only was Dr. Abraham gentle and patient with my daughter, he addressed and thoroughly explained everything and eased all my concerns! The office is nice and staff is extremely professional. Highly recommend Focused eye care!

Dr. Abraham was great! He explained everything he was doing and explained my headaches and what I needed to do to get rid of the headaches. He was very friendly. The staff was also great, and they helped me pick out a pair of glasses that are comfortable and look great on my face.
