I would give the young doctor 5 stars. He was very kind and polite. The young ladies behind the desk, on the other hand, are to the point and cold. Their job is their paycheck; people are NOT their passion. When I asked for a price BEFORE deciding to choose this place as my eye care home, I was not told about ANY of the extra costs up front. They allowed me to go through the whole "searching for perfect glasses" and "paid eye exam" process, and then tacked on a bunch of additional fees (about $200) that were not mentioned before. How hard is it to say $___ + lenses and fees? When I told them never mind, I will go somewhere else, but they still forced me to pay $50 for the 10 minute eye exam. I quote Chelsea (office manager), "I am sorry you were mislead, but we are not going to do anything about it." That says it all. I dont care to give dishonest and uncaring folks my hard earned money. Good customer service should always be most important.

My wife went to Murphy Eye Associates, because it was near our new residence in Murphy. Her former Doctor was to far away in Mesquite. The first pair of glasses were by their own admission incorrectly made and were redone. The next pair were a little better but, she was still felt her old glasses were less problematic then the new pair. She thought the sunglasses were okay but not optimal and they had black dots on the lenses. The others were giving her double vision at night. She complained but she was told to lean to live with it. Frustrated she went to her old Optometrist who told her that her prescription hadnt changed but her cataracts had, and when she didnt need new glasses she needed cataract removal. This was something my wife asked Dr. Barnett about, and he assured her that her cataracts werent the problem. My wife was misdiagnosed by Dr. Barnett and sold glasses she didnt need and couldnt return.

My sunglasses were driving me nuts! They were crooked. Since I get my eyes checked and my contacts and everything done at MEA I called and asked the girls if they could help me out and they told me sure swing on by and we will help you out! That was this afternoon on July 20th and Im terrible with names I think one of the girls was named Kristen? And the girl that helped me had long dark hair ! Both were super sweet and chatted with me while other fiXed my glasses and was very patient and adjusted them several times until she got them perfect!!! Love them so much! Not to mention this is the best Eye Doc I have ever been too! After going here you will realize you e never really had an eye exam wherever youve been going. Phenomenal!!! Thank you Murphy Eye Associates!!!

Im one of those people that does all the annual checkups and include my eyes in that. I had gone to several other eye places before chance connected me up with Murphy Eye Associates. They are great to work with, use the latest technology from paperwork to checking your eyes. They are also very friendly and will bend over backwards to assist you in making the right choices for your eye glasses or contacts and not push a specific brand that might be running a promotion. I recommend these people highly mainly for the fact that Dr. Barnett will spend as much time with you as needed to make sure you have the right help for your eyes. That is a rare commodity these days or quick turns for a buck.

Murphy Eye Associates is number one in my book. I first met Dr. Williams 5 years ago and since then I have my whole family going there. He is thorough with his exams and explains all the procedures. It came down to selecting a pair of glasses and unfortunately I had no personal friend or family there to help me, so one staff member stopped what she was doing and came over and personally help me. Ive never had any problems with billing my insurance....now I do have a few words about my insurance, but thats another story. I highly recommend Murphy Eye Associates if you want personal and professional care.

Superb service - willing to go the extra mile, and put in the extra hours to serve their patients. I had what I thought was an eye crisis that, thanks to Dr. Barnetts above and beyond help on a Saturday night saved me from a major medical crisis. They are not afraid, either, to tell the patient exactly what they need to no - not necessarily just what they want to hear. I have gotten the cattle herding from other Optometrists. Not these guys. They work and work and work until it is right. Im now a loyal patient for life.

Ive been with Dr. BARNETT about 8 years. I trust his judgement, I know he make well informed decisions. Ive been battling glaucoma for several years now and my treatment is going well under his care. I highly recommended Dr. BARNETT for your eye care. Ive had another eye doctor prior to Dr. Barnett for about 5 years and he didnt catch that I had signs of glaucoma issues. The previous Doctor would always tell me my blood pressure must be to high behind my eye and that was not the case.

I was down to my last pair of contacts and needed an appointment ASAP! I called and was able to be seen same day! The eye exam was great and they had my brand and trails in stock! Dr. Barnett was sooo nice and explained everything about my eye exam! I was able to order contacts from Gabbie and she was amazing! Very personable and sweet! She explained all my fees and I felt very comfortable with the whole experience!! Thank you Gabbie & Dr. Barnett!

Murphy Eye Associates are excellent! The staff is very friendly. I took my kids there and the Dr. was very good with them. My kids had a very good experience and so did I. I have been wearing contacts/glasses for 20+ years and I have never been able to see this well with my contacts. The Dr. told me to try the dailies and it is amazing how clear I am able to see. I love it! He is a very good Dr. and I would recommend to go there.

Terrible, EXTRA CHARGES INSURANCE WONT COVER forced due to office policy. DO NOT GO HERE! My visit should have cost $10 but was $91.75 due to EXTRA CHARGES mandated by office policy. Inept office staff called to re-schedule appointment because they double booked the doc only to re-schedule us for a time when the doc already had an appointment.

Dr. Barnett is a great doctor. His office staff ROCKS!!! If you are looking for a new Optometrist make and appointment at this office or his Sachse Eye Associate office. He offers both vision and medical exams. His office staff always goes the extra mile. The office offers both glasses and contact options to meet your vision needs.

I have been around eye clinics all my life and every place that I have gone to somebody somehow ruins it. I did not encounter that problem here at all. The staff is great, friendly and very helpfull. Gabbie explained everything to me thoroughly and got me taken care of with no complaints! Highly reccomend this place!
