I have been a patient of Dr. Spitlers for a few years now and I have always received very good, thorough care. The first time I met with her, she didnt seem incredibly warm, but I believe that was because she was being very scientific in collecting my background history and doing a very thorough examination. Her initial demeanor is also possibly due to her NE background, which can come across was somewhat cold to us Texans. :) In subsequent appointments, she has been much warmer and personable. I have had truly excellent physicians in Texas and in Denver, but never known a dr to be so incredibly thorough in examination (both physical and in the questions she asks) as Dr. Spitler. She excels at finding an accurate diagnosis and in providing the appropriate treatment for that diagnosis. I recommend Dr. Spitler to anyone needing a general physician.

She is condescending, does not listen or seem to care about her patients, and when asked to try to find the reason for a series of seemingly related symptoms and history, she refused to do any further testing and merely prescribed another drug. Another drug she prescribed was contraindicated by the prior mentioned set of symptoms. If you call in to her office, she will never help and always wants you to come in and give her more money, even if you have just seen her. The clinic itself seems ok, the staff helpful and courteous. I have never met any of the other Doctors, but I have been more impressed by Interns working in a County run ER than with Dr. Spitler.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spitlers for two years, and I could not be more pleased with my care. Yes, she is very professional with her contact with her patients. I visit with her not as a friend,but for her advice and help when I am in need of solving medical problems. I have had to seek her help with several problems in the recent months. She has been very attentive, and her knowledge and advise has resulted in my improved health and peace of mind. Charnell Puska
