English - Espanol ENGLISH--Chana is too aggressive with the kids and doesnt think a patients case through before prescribing antibiotics. His method for the 80 to 100 children he sees everyday is an assembly line model where each child gets the same rude and neglectful treatment. Hes been in the Northside so long because we continue to take our children to him and he knows that his behavior would not be tolerated in a well-to-do community. Children should not have such as aversion to their doctor as they do with Chana. They deserve to have an exerience that brings relief and comfort knowing that they are being cared for as a person so by any means, dont subject your children to this atrocious treatment. (CAUTION: I have no doubt that any positive reviews were submitted by his family. There is no way any of his patients would give him a positive rating.) ESPAÑOL--Chana es demasiado agresivo con los niños y no cree que el caso de un paciente a través antes de prescribir antibióticos. Su método para ver los 80 a 100 niños que ve cada dia es un modelo de la línea de asamblea donde cada niño recibe el mismo trato grosero y descuidado. Él ha estado en el Northside tanto tiempo porque le seguimos llevando a nuestros hijos y él sabe que su conducta no sería tolerada en una comunidad de altos recursos. Los niños no deben tener una aversión a su médico como lo que tienen con Chana. Ellos merecen tener una exerience que trae alivio y consuelo saber que están siendo cuidados como persona así que por todos los medios, no someta a sus hijos a este tratamiento atroz. (PRECAUCIÓN:. No tengo ninguna duda de que los comentarios positivos fueron presentados por su familia No hay manera alguna que sus pacientes le daría una calificación positiva.)

1st visit: I was recommended to go to Dr. Chana from a fellow healthcare professional when I had bronchitis (simply could not stop coughing at work, to the point I would gag and throw up). When I went, I told him I needed help to stop coughing, OTCs and even full strength benzonitate (Tessalon Perles) DID NOT WORK. He all but accused me of being addicted to cough syrup, even tho I had only had it TWICE in my lifetime (as a middle-aged adult), once for the bronchitis, once for Swine Flu. Additionally, it took 6 hours to get in and out and I was late to work by 2 hours as a result, when I was promised that it would be less than 2 hours!! 2nd visit: Went in for a refill on my daily ADHD medicine which Ive had for years. It was half of the therapeutic dose, so you would THINK that no fair Doctor should have any quelms about refilling it when you present proof of change in address (moving across the state) and request a change in primary care physician, with proof of your healthcare records in hand and nothing even close to evidence of abuse shown; sadly, I was sorely mistaken. After 5&1/2 hours of waiting to be seen, and after telling the nurses EXACTLY what I was there for and how it was the only thing I wanted to be seen for (without them mentioning that he doesnt take transfer patients for regulatory controls), Dr. Chana finally shows up and tells me to go back to my previous physician, who lives almost 5 hours away!! Says "Dont worry, theres no charge" after I wasted the same amount of time just waiting for him to even see me! The audacity of some healthcare professionals just astounds me. I will NOT be back again.

LONG and wasteful my son had congestion from the day he was born, and always the same antibiotic decongestant finally changed doctors and guess what is congestion miraculously dissapeard, The front desk is completely and utterly unorganized I was one of he first people there and for some reason my son chart was push to the back and forgotten, no only that on another occasion I was already half the day spent there and guess what the MAs start fighting about who is going home early right outside the room I am sitting in with my some, so I turn around and say as a matter of fact I would like to know when I am leaving, being there is like beign herded like cattle, before the doctor even sees you the MAs are writing on the prescription pads for ibuprofen. Would not recommend as a matter of fact stay away stay far far away.

I use to go there when my babygirl was an infant and they use to take so long. First i would have to go up there at 6 or 7 to make line to try to get out at or before 12. Second the girls are so rude and lazy they just sit around. Third he would not check my daughter fully he just took one look and bam he knows what it is no test or nothing. Now my daughter is 6 yrs, I have been going to ABC Pediatric on Wallisville for the last 4yrs. and I love it there. The staff is nice and actually work and the wait is no more then 10 mins. I love my daughters doctor she is so sweet. They actually take a test to check what infection she has or what ever. I will never recommend Chana to nobody but I would recommend ABC Pediatric

I went to Dr. Chana as a child over 30 years ago... my children and family have been seeing Dr. Chana because he is the best doctor. Like any doctor office they have a revolving door for staff. He might not have the best staff at times but there are some good ones I wouldnt make that a reflection of his 45 plus years experience. Yes the wait is horrible but its obvious people know hes a great doctor or they wouldnt wait to see him. Literally a natural, caring, extremly knowledgeable doctor like no other.

Very bad experience with staff . DR is good but staff is bad even though you sign in early morning but they dont call most of the time first they call to their known people no matter what number you sign in my son was faint and has injured on lips i went 8.20am i been waiting till 11.am they did not call him i asked them 3-4 times they been calling peoples whose number was after me after waiting 3 hrs i came back without seeing a Dr.

Pésima. Sus trabajadoras nunca saben nada. No se puede comunicar con ese pediatra y no logro comunicarme. Le llamo incapacidad. Mi opinion es que cambie a su personal de secretaria.

The doctor is nice..the staff is ok i guess. When they seen that i spoke spanish they said "we better Watch what we say", i thought that was weird. With no insurance, its expensive. And The wait is extremely long, hours. In the back, even longer. 5 in a half hours total..
