I will be forever grateful for all the staff that composes this wonderful clinic. My baby boy got sick from what I think is some type of plant poisoning this past Friday 7/28 and I took him to a vet on Sunday 7/30 (hard to find a vet that opens on Sundays). Today is Wed. 8/2 and he has shown a few signs of improvement but still refuses to eat or drink anything. Worried because he showed signs of heavy/rapid breathing last night, I was scared and decided I had to take him in again but this time I searched for a place closer to home. I knew I would have many options being that its not a Sunday. I googled and came across several clinics and started calling right away. The first 2 places I called didnt really make me feel anywhere near welcomed or like they cared for my baby and to top it off they didnt have appointments available until about 5pm...mind you, I was calling at 8am. I finally call Lakeside Animal Clinic and I had the sweetest lady, Savanna, take my call. She sounded genuinely concerned to hear what was wrong with my baby and asked to place me on hold to speak to the vet. She came back and said the vet would like to see my baby today but had a busy scheduled already. However, they asked for me to drop my boy off so that she could look at him in between her other appointments. That was a HUGE relief. I showed up to drop him off and gave them details of whats been going on. They had also already called the clinic we visited on Sunday and they had a copy of the paperwork of whats already been done. The techs explained to me what the next steps were and what procedures the vet would perform. I write this review as I wait for them to call me back to tell me that I can go pick him up and hes ready to come back home. Theyve been great at keeping me updated on results, recommendations, etc via phone calls. We came across about 5 different ladies as we were checking in this morning and they were ALL nothing less than amazing with him. I know I left my baby in good hands. Its a great clinic all around as they made me feel like family. Thank you Lakeside for putting my mind and heart at ease <3

Dr. Abdel-Malek and her assistant Christie are two of the most amazing people that I have ever seen in my life!! The passion in which they care for their patients is beyond words. I got my first puppy but I noticed that he wasnt active as much but I assumed that he needed time to adjust to his new home, but he soon lost his appetite and began vomiting so into the vet we went.This was my first time ever going into a vets office so needless to l say, I had some anxiety.I came in with my 8 week old puppy who was vomiting with diarrhea. Unfortunately my poor little baby had contracted parvovirus, which is death sentence for most dogs. I was extremely distraught, I was confused, I was crying and I was a complete mess. Christie and Dr. A came over with those warm smiles and hugs and ensured me that it was okay, that I can do this. In the midst of me being so upset while looking into his hazel eyes he had the worst case of diarrhea and it smelled horrid, to the point that I almost vomited. They were so patient while cleaning up poo and comforting me. When treating a puppy that has parvovirus they are supposed to be hospitalized, but boy oh boy, I was not ready for that. The chance of survival when not hospitalized goes down to 20%. I am so happy to report that my puppy survived parvovirus!! Thanks to Dr. Abdel-Malek who insured that I knew that this was very serious and that I could treat him as needed. I received follow up call from the office to ensure that everything was going okay. They have gained a new patient for life. There are some affiliates that treat humans that could learn a thing or two about compassion and understanding from you ladies! You young women ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you , thank you, thank you!!!

I absolutely LOVE this Veterinary Clinic. Ive had many pets my whole life, and have found fantastic vets everywhere, but Lakeside Animal Clinic makes us feel like family. I go out of my way as far as drive time to take my boys here. The staff is so wonderful, and genuinely love all their fur patients. I love that they do price match on flea and heart-worm prevention medication. I love that they remember my boys and are genuinely happy to see them when we walk through the door. They walk you through every concern you have or issue they find. They are not pushy or make you feel forced to do anything you cannot afford. Lets face it, vet visits are expensive, pretty much anywhere you go. And although Lakeside is not the cheapest, I am willing to pay a little more to take by fur babies here. They deserve the best, and Lakeside Animal Hospital is the BEST!

Lakeside, Dr. Randy Wiltshire, and all of the staff couldnt be better! They are caring and know your name/pets name when you walk thru the door. They take care of your pet like it were their own. We recently had a dog that passed away from cancer and Dr. Wiltshire and his staff followed up with us on a daily basis, helping us to understand our dogs situation and was in contact with the oncologist and internal medicine physicians that we were working with. Its not easy losing a pet, but knowing that Dr. Wiltshire took the time to help us every step of the way showed us that he actually cares. He has also been following up with us after our dog passed. Compassion cant be taught, its something that most doctors dont have these days, but this place oozes love for every animal and pet. They make you feel like family.

Our beagle lived to the age of 14, receiving several years of care from Lakeside. The staff are caring and responsive, always trying to make ones dog feel comfortable and welcome. Randy Wiltshire, the owner, is an excellent veterinarian who responded to messages fairly promptly and provided ample time to answer our questions and allay anxieties. When the day came for us to put down our pet, Randy was very sensitive to our emotions and guided us through the difficult event. All in all, we recommend Lakeside to pet owners as a welcoming place with reasonable prices and very well-qualified staff. Dr. Wiltshire is an outstanding professional who values his customers and loves the pets under his care. - Mark K.

Lakeside is an excellent clinic. Dr. Wiltshire is knowledgeable, great with my pets, and sincerely concerned for their well being. He personally calls to deliver lab results, discuss treatment progress, and to just check on "us"! The clinic staff is awesome - always very kind and helpful. I take my pets to Lakeside with 100% confidence. I find the prices to be really affordable compared to other vet clinics I have used. Also, Dr. Wiltshire discusses treatment options, instead of just insisting on the most expensive tests now. This is a benefit of going to a vet-owned clinic instead of a corporate-owned clinic. I wish I could find a human doctor I trusted as much as I trust Dr. Wiltshire!
