We cant thank Dr. Van Patton enough for helping Lollie a few years back. She was having issues and we took her to him for possible acupuncture. While I was totally petrified of what the needles were like, he was more than happy to show me how they worked and we discussed in detail what could happen with her treatment. We went back 6 more times, driving from Topeka to him. She loved it and after a few days with the acupuncture and the holistic medicine he gave us she was back up to par. Without repeated treatments she did get sick again about 10 months later, when Dr. Van Patton diagnosed her he said she had liver fire and come to find out when we took her to our local vet he diagnosed her with Cushings. We couldnt believe how accurate he was in treatment without much more than touch. We completely suggest anyone who is considering to do acupuncture, holistic medicine or even western medicine on any of their animals to start here with this practice, you will never regret that you did! After an initial IVDD episode with one of my dachshund boys we took him to have acupuncture down the street here in Topeka, thinking that maybe acupuncture was just acupuncture and anyone could do it. after one treatment I decided to never take him back there for anything.I never felt like that with Dr. Van Patton he has a healing touch and a caring personality. I am sure we will be seeing you again soon Dr. Van Patton, thank you again!
