I found the doctor in my network website. I called to make an appointment mid-March of 2016. I was asked for my insurance ID, which I gave. I confirmed with them that I am going to get my Well Womans exam and this exam is going to be at no cost to me. They confirmed my understanding. I came to my appointment. Right after my exam, I went straight to the receptionist desk to ask if I owed anything. The receptionist said no, not even a copay. I thanked her and left. For 2 weeks, I waited for a call from them to tell me my test results were in. Finally, I just checked my portal and my results were there. I was fine and didnt mind that they never contacted me again. Then in October of 2016, I received a bill that I owed the doctor $406. I called my insurance and the doctors office and turned out none of the doctors at this office were contracted with my insurance provider. This office allowed me to receive service from their facility without confirming my insurance and lying to me that I did not owe them anything, but bills me 6 months later when they felt like it. Unbelievable.

Doctors are wonderful, however they use an external billing company which seems to screw up a *LOT*. The office in Katy had a down credit card machine, and they took my credit card info manually... a month later we got a letter saying we owed money. We contacted OGA and paid as soon as we got the letter... now they are sending us to collections for money already paid! Great way to do business... send a customer to collections before letting them know they owe money, and after they already paid you... twice!

Use Dr. Firpo, shes awesome, I cant say enough good things about her- she takes the time with patients, has a great personality, and understands. Ive also seen Dr. Ball and Dr. Leeds-Richter and they are also great. No complaints. The office is really nice (they recently opened a brand new shiny office) and its so high-tech, you feel like youre getting the best medical treatment available!

It seems a lot of people have an issue with this office (Houston) but I happen to have had a positive experience. Ive seen Dr. Galfione. My waits have been short, my issues addressed accordingly and treatment has been successful. Carol from front desk is very polite and has a great personality. I cant say I have any complaints from this office.
