What. A. Nightmare. If you want to have any money left, DO NOT GO HERE. Actually, if you want a diagnosis and knowledgeable doctors, do not go here either. My husband rushed me here in October 2015 for a food poisoning illness that left me convulsing and with fever. They accepted our insurance, Cigna, so we stayed. After a flu test, a urine sample and a blood test, Dr. Joseph B. Caruso could not tell me what was wrong and we left empty handed. Luckily, Google exists, so I self-diagnosed myself with low blood sugar due to not being able to keep any food down and prescription medication side effects, causing the convulsing. (I also listed all the medications I was on for Dr. Caruso. He didnt even consider that they could be a factor.) The cost for no answers and a degrading, belittling doctor was *drum roll, please* $2,369.90. Let me break that down so you know what youre getting yourself into, per the itemized bill they sent me: -The cost just to see Dr. Caruso was $498.96. -The cost for the "emergency room services" was $1,161.77. -They charged me $5.94 for the bandaid that they put on my finger after pricking me for blood. -$5.28 for "alcohol or peroxide per pint". AKA the alcohol swab they used to clean my finger before pricking me. -$14.19 for a "sterile needle". $6 for a bandaid? This place is a joke. If you want a real urgent care facility in this area with great doctors and reasonable prices, check out Next Level Urgent Care: 5535 Memorial Dr.

**READER BEWARE (of misleading billing practices)** I came to their facility on 3-25-12 to get help for my nausea (hangover from drinking at the wedding a day before, I vomited a lot that night and felt weak the day after so my brother, retired vet said I should do the IV drip since he does it himself in the army all the time to speed up the recovery). We came in and ask for the price, which the receptionist stated at $350 and required us to pay right away, I thought it wasnt too bad so went ahead with it. The rest was quick; we was in and out in about 30 minutes. Today I received a bill for an additional $1326.95 Obviously, I went "what the hell is this?". I called and after speaking to 3 different billing rep, I was told a supervisor would call me back and that the $350 is only the copay. I have not heard back from the supervisor. After reading so many negative reviews and seeing similar story of their billing method in gray areas; I think I will get a "too bad" answer from the billing department. So the moral of my review is (aside from not drinking too much) is DONT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY, INQUIRE ABOUT THE Full/Total/Overall/Final (insert any other synonym here) BILL else you will be blindsided with a second bill like I am. Would I proceed if they tell me the bill would be $1676.95 totaled up front? Hell no. If I was dying... Id go to the hospital ER. *will update if situation change*

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! THE ABSOLUTE WORST! So glad I wasnt on the verge of death when I went to this place! Severed my head and had to go to the Urgent Care center. The "doctors" here really need to go back to school and go to a "Sewing 101" course. A home economics student could have stitched me up better than these "doctors" did. When they were done with me, I had six huge Frankenstein stitches down the center of my forehead. On top of everything, I received 2 bills - one from the "Emergency Center" and one from the "doctors". I was double-charged for the same procedure - repair superficial wound by the emergency center AND by the "doctors". The total amount of $2,248.52. They only stitched up the wound - my forehead was severed down to the bone and they didnt even sew up the tissue underneath. Just like Joel Macalusos review below, I went in for a simple procedure (i.e. stitches). The lady at the front lied about the bill, by a factor of 20! Was told I would be charged $100 copay for the visit. A month later I received TWO bills for a total of $2,248.52! I would not recommend this place to anyone! These 6 stitches I received that made me look like Frankenstein cost me MORE than my plastic surgeon charged to fix their botched-up stitch job. Save yourself the double-trouble and immediately go to the Emergency Room!

Wish I would have read these reviews before I went. I was lied to about how much it was going to cost. I was the ONLY one there and it took the doctor 30 minutes to come see me in the room. When he got in, he took a look at me for maybe 7 seconds, said he couldnt help but would write a script that "may" help, stepped outside to write the prescription, proceeded to talk to the nurse about the Texans for 20 more minutes, and then finally returned in the room to give me the prescription. I am a Texans fan and that still pissed me off. A couple of weeks later I find out that I have been billed for just over $1,700...... I mean come on. For him to examine me for not even half a minute, write a script, and be terribly inconsiderate, and then charge me that much money is an absolute joke. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT go to this place unless it is an absolute emergency and you are about to lose your life.

I went there for severe vomiting and diarrhea leading to dehydration. From the time I walked in the door they had an IV started and I was getting fluids/antinausea drugs and antibiotics in less than TEN MINUTES. Had I gone to any other ER it would have been at minimum an hour or two wait to even see a doctor. By the time any treatment is given you are looking at a several hour minimum. Their rates are comparable to any other ER-no matter what ER you go to it is going to be pretty expensive. Even if I ended up having to pay $500 more compared to a different ER it was worth it no doubt. The staff was wonderful and I will go back to this ER in the future if I have to visit an ER. For everyone complaining about the cost-if it is something that can wait until the daytime, dont go to any ER because yes it is more expensive than an urgent care facility for a variety of factors.

Great service at this ER - I was seen immediately for abdominal pain, given fluids and pain medication and other test within the first 30 minutes. The doctor was through, kind and really helpful in navigating the crazy minefield of possible causes of abdominal pain (many can be very serious). Thankfully, they found nothing serious and I was sent home quickly. I have not received the bill, but I knew that this was an ER going in and will be priced as such - not an Urgent Care Center. The difference is that an Urgent Care Center (colds, sore throats, etc.) will not be as costly. Emergency rooms as expensive - just as they would be at your local hospital (this one just happens to be standalone). Know this going in and you wont be sticker shocked later! Emergency - go to the ER; Sore throat - go to the Urgent Care Clinic or Redi Clinic - it will save you!
