Hi dont go to this dental place I went to Brookshire in Hurst tx because they had a Groupon for a dental implant special well I went for a consultation and they told me that I was a good candidate but had to wait couple more months for my tooth to heal and had enough bone there well while I was there they said I had two cavities and also said I needed a crown on one of my back teeth but and also a bridge that I knew I needed but was eventually I would put in well a finance woman came in started to tell me the quote on everything I needed she was mainly wanting all the money up front well I said that I could just start on the cavities that I needed filled but oh no she said I had to do everything and that she would give me a special price so I said no I was going to go to another dentist and get quote from them cause I was going to go get a cleaning anyway so I told her I would be back to get my implant in a couple of months , so a couple of days later I went got a cleaning at another dental place asked the dentist to fix my cavities and he said you dont have any cavities you have a stain but no cavities also the tooth they said I needed a crown I got a core buildup and its great so no crown needed oh yeah as for my implant a couple of days before I was to get it done they called not a tech but the finance woman and said I needed more bone put in and it is gonna cost 800.00 more plus the Groupon price I bought so this place is all about money, Groupon is not at fault its this place Brookshire you shouldnt be in business at all dont be putting specials if you cant go by your word , people always get a second opinion if you go to this dental place....... hi again yall called me after I posted post that I put on here yes what I put on here is what I went thru there was no miscommunication the dentist that saw me was so sure that I was good to go for the implant and told me of the cavaities that i didnt have and other things i needed ,maybe he needs to really look at x-rays and really look at peoples teeth and quit trying to do procedures that are not required. yall messed up and dont try calling me telling me there was a miscommunication thanks but no thanks and dont mislead people.......

This place has its pros and cons. The worst thing (con) about this place is that they are really flaky and shady about the all the charges involved. In the beginning they will give you one an amount that youll need to pay and then as time goes by they will come up with the rest of the hidden charges that were kept a secret until you spend the time, money and gas to come all the way to the office for the next visit. When you finally show up after missing work, Fariba, (shadiest con artist) will tell you "Oh! You do know theres another $three figures youll need to pay. I forgot to tell you this at the beginning." She did not have the basic human courtesy or decency to call me ahead of time to advise me of the ridiculous new and unheard of charges. I remember specifically asking for the total along with this particular piece I needed and I was never quoted this additional fee. It is very disappointing that this happened to me. I have read numerous other reviews identical to mine stating that Fariba is very flakey when it comes to the additional hidden and unexpected charges. I was skeptical but still have them the benefit of doubt but in the end I turned out to be the one who was scammed and fooled. (Pro) However, all the other staff Ive had the pleasure of meeting and working with were absolutely amazing. They were professional and courteous and caring throughout my surgery and my visits. I absolutely loved the service they provided. If I was to name some of the awesome staff I had the pleasure of working with they would be Avis, Diana, Felicia, Lindsay, Dr. Kevin, Julia, Angelina, Brittany and a few others. Do not trust the charges quoted to you by Fariba. There will be more hidden charges thatll come up! BEWARE!

I am truly impressed by the care and service we received here. My mom was having some serious tooth and gum pain, all the way up into her face, and she was reluctant to go to her usual dentist because the dentist was rough and not very nice. We decided to come here on a whim at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and they fit her right in once we described the pain. The doctor was so friendly and responsive that I was awestruck. He asked my mom tons of questions and spent a lot of time describing what he believed to be wrong with my moms mouth/teeth, as well as writing down notes for us to take home so we wouldnt forget the different conditions and treatments he described. I might even start coming here myself-- Ill update my review once my husband and I get our next cleanings. Also, the receptionist was REALLY nice. Ive found that while not "mean" per se, sometimes dental receptionists sometimes gossip and dont give the waiting patients much attention. The girls there were all business, and very friendly.

I have been going to Brookshire Dental for over 10 years and have always had top-notch service. I have had work done by Dr Afkami years back and most recently Dr Starks and Dr Bemis. They are outstanding in the way they explain things and are always attentive to my needs. They are a credit to their profession. One time I had to have some emergency service on a Saturday prior to an important social event and Kenyaa drove in on Saturday which was SO appreciated ! I have had crowns done on several teeth and received excellent care and service from Felicia during this procedure. I highly recommend her skills and knowledge in this area. Lastly, I have had 3 hygienists over the years and my current one is Chelsea ... she is fabulous ! She really knows what she is doing and is very thorough, encouraging and cares about her patients. At 58 yrs old I couldnt be happier with my smile !

Brookshire Dentistry has been my family’s primary care dentist office for a few years and we have never experienced anything but exceptional service. The waiting area has a nice relaxed feel to it and the receptionists are always very friendly and helpful. They work with my family’s hectic schedule to get us in when it’s convenient for us. Dr. Afkami is FANTASTIC! He has such a warm charside manner and I can tell that he really cares about his patients. If you are looking for a dentist in the Hurst area this is the place to go!

The staff is awesome! The front staff is sweet and welcoming! I came in for a check up and cleaning and Sidney cleaned my teeth. Im normally nervous when I go to the dentist but she made my experience way more comfortable. I even had to get some work done and Dr. Bemis was nice enough to be able to work me into his schedule that day so I didnt have to come back! Im so happy with my recent experience and found my new dental home!
