My wife and I recently visited Northeast Eye Center for a routine eye exam for the first time. We had the opportunity of meeting Dr. Martinez and her staff. It was an extremely pleasant experience. The office environment was extremely clean and well maintained. Her staff is very hospitable and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable and thorough when dealing with the patients. They all work together as a team to make sure everything runs smoothly within the office. They are diligent with scheduling appointments in order to make it convenient for the patient. It was an absolute pleasure to be treated by Dr. Martinez. She treated my wife and I as if we were the only patients there. Dr. Martinez made us feel very comfortable and at ease with the entire visit. She also took the time to explain how our eyes function and the purposes of the various tests that were to be performed. Dr. Martinez was present in all aspects of our visit. She greeted and welcomed us in a warm and friendly manner. She explained questions that we had regarding our insurance benefits. She thanked us for our business and escorted us to the door with a smile. We definitely recommend Dr. Martinez to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor or contemplating switching to a better eye doctor. Dr. Michelle Martinez is the best! You wont be disappointed.

Dr. Martinez is fabulous. BEWARE HOWEVER, the office staff who verify insurance are absolutely incompetent and refuse to take any responsibility for their "guessing game" way of finding your insurance. My husband and I have the exact same insurance and had eye appointments 10 days apart. When they presented me with my "insurance discount " my glasses were $331. When they presented him with his "insurance discount" his were $157. When questioned about the difference they informed me we had different insurance plans. When pressed further they told me it was what they were "given" by whoever made the appointment. I MADE BOTH APPOINTMENTS AND PROVIDED THE EXACT SAME INFORMATION. Then she stated it really is a guessing game by whom ever books the appointment and that it was my fault for not giving them more information and that her manager also stated that there was nothing they could do even though I suggested they re-file under the correct insurance. My entire family will no longer be using this eyecare center. If negative stars were an option this would be a time for them.

Today I had my first appointment at Northeast Eye Center for a routine eye exam with Dr. Martinez. This is the first time I have ever left an eye appointment so completely confident in the competency of the Doctor, and the accuracy of the prescription in hand. Everyone at the office was very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Martinez is friendly, and professional. Her communication skills are exceptional. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She explains everything so simply during the exam. The words that come to mind, describing the exam are, fluid, smooth, and easy. This is by far the best experience I have had with an eye exam. Dr. Martinez takes the time to explain everything she is doing and why she is doing it. Aside from my own interest in how my vision works, I feel much more confident in the Doctors conclusions when she can actually explain the biology and examination methods. BTW, the word "Doctor" derives from Latin for "Teacher"....

Great experience from scheduling to leaving with my prescription. The front staff was very kind. Dr. Martinez was really great, personable and makes you feel 100% comfortable. And the facility is extremely well maintained and has a nice modern / contemporary feel to it. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Dr. Martinez!

By far the best Eye Doctor I have ever been to. Dr. Michelle Is so sweet and professional. As a young women going for just an eye exam she takes the time to know you and really care. Staff is very friendly and the building is Spotless. I love Northeast Eye Center, best in Hurst.
