My child has been going to this Pediatrician since two days after he was born. This is the first time I have cried on the phone because the staff did not care at all! I am a student and had originally schedule d an appointment for my son to go for his 24 month check up, so ON THE DAY of the appointment they called me and told me that the Dr. couldnt see him that day. After the day before I received a phone call from their staff telling me that Dr. Powell could do the check up for my son. They called to tell me that they could not. This was the only time I could take him because of my school schedule. Then about three hours before his appointment they called me and told me they couldnt! That I would have to reschedule it. Even though they told me it wouldnt be a problem. I had his appointment a week in advance. My son needed a check up and now he was sick, so he needed to be seen asap, so I pleaded with the supervisor to let someone see my son, but she told me she couldnt help me. I told her that my son had asthma and needed a check up, that I wanted to know why they didnt care. Then she said that I was taking up too much of her time, because she had other patients to take care of. I didnt even know how to respond to that because after having my son for two years here they acted as if I didnt exist. I was shocked and couldnt speak. I was now in my car, crying, having to scramble to find a DR. Not to mention the appointment before this they also left me waiting in the waiting room for AN HOUR and THIRTY MINUTES. Because the male in the front said he didnt see my sons name. (There was a line through his name). These people dont care at all! I drove from Dallas to Irving so that my son could go to this Dr. Because I thought that they were the best. NOPE!!! Please reconsider! Go anywhere else!

I really like Dr Dixit but theres a front desk lady thats really rude & lazy. Shes always yawning & acts like she doesnt care. My son was seen by the nurse practitioner Monday due to a fever. She seemed rushed & said he only had a cold. That I just needed to give him Tylenol or Motrin. I knew my son had some type of infection but the nurse practitioner did not take the time to check. When I got home, I called the office to check if an RX had been sent to the pharmacy. She said the nurse practitioner had left & wasnt going to be there until Friday. I asked for Dr Dixit to send the RX in the morning & the front desk lady said she wasnt going to be there until a week from now, on Tuesday. My son will not & cannot wait that long for an RX. He needs to be in school. Its ridiculous how they act like they dont care. I immmediately changed to Dr Sarah Hasham & scheduled an appointment. She has really good reviews. My son did, in fact, have an ear infection & needed an antibiotic. This is the best Dr Ive been too. She cares about her patients & takes time to know you. All the office staff is sweet & caring, unlike MacArthur Pediatrics. Will never return to this place.

My son has been seeing Dr. S Powell since he was 6 months, hes now 2. We love her! She really is a great doctor, shes always very informative and truly cares about your child. She really makes you feel like she honestly is concerned about your child, being a first time mom, I try not to rush him in or over panic but since everything is new to me, shes been very helpful and kind. Staff is great also!

Dr. Susan Powell is the GREATEST Pediatrician for my daughter. She is very kind and the staff is good with her as well. She listens to my every needs and concerns I have since being a first time mom. She is very genuine! We will be using her for all of our kids.

Feels like you are in a drive thru. The nurses at the front desk are very rude. The doctor has some good information. Keeps you informed, but is quick and does not seem to care. All she sees is dollar signs.

We started going to Dr. Powell when my daughter turned 1. I absolutely love her. She is a pleasure to see and her office is efficient and fast. I no longer have to spend hours at the pediatrician!
