Ok, the pediatrics department, which is where Dr. Heller is, is not that great... Dr. Heller on the other hand is awesome. My major problem with pediatrics is that I have only seen Dr Heller 5 times, out of probably 40+ appointments in the last 5 years (I have 3 kids, two have recurring problems), all the other times we have seen a nurse practitioner. The NPs are fine, and pretty good, but sometimes you get one that is so new they dont really have that great of patient or diagnosing skills yet. I have had to reschedule another appointment a couple of days later, several times, after seeing a NP, because they failed to diagnose a problem completely or didnt prescribe the proper medication the first time (happened once, prescribed a cough suppressant, but not an expectorant to get all the phlegm out of her lungs) All this being said, they are a good office, and is far superior to many of the pediatric offices that I have had my kids at before.

I took my newborn here for her newborn check. I didnt actually see Dr Heller, I saw her PA, a nice young lady that totally blew off all my concerns, left my baby cold and crying on the table (I couldve at least held her and carried her to the weighing station) and did nothing to help me fix the awful hours of crying my baby was going through. I went to another pediatrician and it turns out my baby had reflux. Dr. Heller might be amazing but after this Im not sticking around to find out.

Great doctor, helpful answers all questions and puts your mind at ease,but the wait is too long. 2 hours with an appointment...
