As a caregiver for my mom and deceased father, I am responsible for medical care and an advocate for them. Dr. Chancellor is wonderful. He takes his time with his patients, answers all questions, very empathetic and shows genuine concern for his patients. However, his staff is not friendly, very pushy, demeaning and comes across as "being bothered" and "talked down to" like we are stupid which is unacceptable. When I refer to his staff I am talking about the nurses, front office staff, and the PA. I will not post specific comments made to me because of confidentiality reasons but I can tell you that I have left there in the past with not any nice things to say. Also, it is very rare that you actually get to see Dr. Chancellor. I think in the past 4 years I have seen him maybe 3 times. Everything else has been the PA. I am seriously considering finding a new primary care doctor for my mom. I hate to make a change since she has been going there for 10 years but my experience with them is making me consider making the change.

The Dr. is kind and does not rush your visit but he is very hard to get a visit with even when you become an established patient ... you end up pushed on to his DA most of the time ... His office staff is rude with no concern for the patient or their privacy . If your looking for a Dr. who you can build a relationship with this is not the one.

Great, patient, personable, knowledgeable doctor. However, front staff, nurses, admin are very unreliable. They do not follow through with prescriptions, call backs, results, scheduling specialists, etc. It is also very rare that you see Dr Chancellor. I have seen his PA 3 out of the last 4 visits.

I have never had a bad experience at this office. Chancellor has been my personal care provider for 2 years and he and his nurse practitioner provide excellent care for me.
