I almost didnt choose her as my doctor because of the bad reviews but her location was close to home so I scheduled an appointment anyways. First off the staff was friendly and I only waited 15 min before being called back. I also came in with my two babies and my partner and they were very considerate to my needs as a nursing mommy. The MA was very friendly and assisted me quickly so I could nurse my baby. Dr. Maximo came in promptly and got right to it! She answered all my questions and gave me some sample meds. She also gave me the referrals I ask for to see a few specialist. We even discussed a few of my personal issues and I was surprised at how realistic and compassionate she was. I dont understand why she got bad reviews. Ive worked in the medical field for years now and Ive notice a lot of people dismiss their doctors as being inconsiderate because of their fast pace but the truth is your doctor is there to diagnosis and provide treatment for your condition not baby you. The best thing a patient can do is be clear about the problems they are having and be direct dont small talk. Again I had a great first impression and am very pleased with her.

I went to my first visit on 1/4/16. Horrible experience. Never had such a terrible doctors visit in my life. I do not know how she is in business. Her staff was great, but as soon as she came in the room she was in a hurry. Did not listen to my needs. Cut me off in the middle of my sentence. Was totally and completely rude. Didnt even examine me properly and right away wanted to rush me out and just wrote a prescription without knowing what my allergies were. She plain out told me, "Your getting old nothing I can do to help you" Dismissed me like I was a number in a line of cattle. Horrible!!!!! No Bedside Manners Whatsoever. I WOULD NEVER SEND ANYONE TO HER. NOT EVEN MY ENEMIES. Please stay away, that is my advice.

I had my first visit this week with Dr Maximo after waiting 2 months to get in as a new patient. It was worth the wait. She is great. She listens, is caring, and definitely an advocate for her patients. She is very frank and straight-forward, but it wouldnt do me any good if she pandered and sugar coated, so I like a dr like this. I read the reviews on here before my appointment and was very worried so I wanted to post this for anyone who may have felt like I did. I am completely confident in choosing her as my PCP. She and her staff have gone above and beyond to assist me. I am pleasantly surprised by their hard work to accommodate my specific needs. This is what a doctor and her office should be like.

Dr. CHERRY is so Intelligent, she knows her stuff. She listen to me and answered all my questions. Whoever wrote bad reviews on her were either weaned on a sour pickle or are in need of something like hormome therapy or are JEALOUS (women can be that way) . Dr Cherry is GREAT PHYSICIAN and nothing on those bad reviews are true. I usually dont write reviews, but I was so pleased with her knowledge, her care that she totally impressed me. Thank You Dr. CHERRY MAXIMO ...You are the MAX..your name sez it all...Blessings to You...

my experience was terrible. she entered room no intro or eye contact. cut me off when i tried to communicate why i was there but she was not in receive mode. not trying to work with me on what i needed her to do for me. i had one of her 4 min exams. as for being a new patient she did not give me a feeling of confidence in her as a doctor. already searching for another primary care doctor.

Horrible, HORRIBLE doctor! My wife and I both saw her and she DOES NOT LISTEN. She completely messed up my wifes medication and referred me to another office that doesnt even handle what I needed! AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS!

Staff were super. Wish I had read the reviews on Dr.Maximo before I went to her. Absolutely true that she does not listen to what her patient is telling her. I immediately looked for a new primary care doctor.
