Here is my review, they cannot see me because I owe around $135, so the response from the person I was dealing with was they will not schedule an appointment since that total is in collections. I am aware I owe, I am aware I cannot be without my medication yet they have the will to tell me they will not refill or give me an appointment. Mind you, Im sorry I am going through money issues right now yet you practically told me to go to hell we are not seeing you because of non payment and good luck with your blood pressure. We can all point to what is wrong with our health care, but what is wrong with this customer service, I offered to pay half, this is what I could do, yet a no Im sorry we cannot do this was their best answer. I know offices have rules but no compassion or empathy from the individual I dealt with. It is of no wonder people dont decide to get health care, we are all screwed one way or the other because at some point we cannot afford it, do we pay for getting food to the table or do we pay for Dr visits in full and be in the same predicament? When this office told me they cannot see me, they practically told me to go to hell and die! How is that for adding more stress to ones life. To the person who told me this at that office, I hope you or a loved one is never in my position in life, its difficult when your on the other side of the fence, also, your bs about having your office manager to call me never did, so karma is so n ear for you!

UNFORTUNATELY, I made an appt late Friday as a new patient and it was scheduled for the following Monday. Over the weekend I was in pain so I visited Urgent Care. With medication prescribed I was in pain or sleeping and didnt make the appt. Turns out they have a policy that if a new patient misses their appt. They can never be seen by the dr. The manager said its the Drs policy because it starts off bad with the dr. I may be wrong, but I thought medical services were suppose to be in the best care of the patient. If a person was in a lot of pain and on medications who couldnt make it, possible giardia for those that know what it does, then why not have the care of the patient in mind and give them a second chance. When youre in the medical field you must understand things happen in life and an appt created at closing time and over the weekend you dont have time to call and reschedule. Then once on medications and in pain it is hard to prioritize a phone call to reschedule. Hopefully, when the dr needs to be out off his office at short notice, his patients would have the respect to understand things happen in life out of your control. I wont say to stay away from this office because I couldnt tell you whether the dr is good or not, but I will say to make your appt no matter what. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.

My family has been a patient of HCFM since they first opened. Things were much better at the beginning. The first flag should have been when Dr. Hendly offended my husband regarding one of my children, and trust me, my husband does not get bothered easily. I gave Dr. Hendely the benefit of the doubt; however, there have been other problems throughout the years. I have seen staff come and go. I understand that sometimes staff are not always loyal, but this was also a flag. I continued to visit the office, but the last straw was when I was less than 10 min late. The office policy is 10 minutes, not 8. Dr. Hendley refused to see me. I had driven over 1 1/2 hours to make this appointment, and I got held up at work. He didnt care. I felt that he was trying to teach me a lesson not be late again. Well, he did get that wish. I will never be late again, because I found another doctor closer who has a better policy. Dr. Hendley, we wait on you, so get out of our pretentious attitude and treat your patients better. I have spoken with other people who have visited him, and the advice that he gave was very unprofessional. Medicine is declining due to the fabulous Obama Care, but I hope that there are better physicans than this.

This review is for prospective new patients. Dont waste your time. I recently changed insurance carriers and my new carrier listed Dr. Hendley as taking new patients. Technically, I guess he is. I called today, 8/24, for an appointment and was told that while they had plenty of appointments available for established patients, the first availability for a new patient was going to be October 6th. I spoke to the office manager about the 43 day wait for new patients when the receptionist told me there were, in fact, openings, and her reply was that "we have a right to control our own schedule" and that new patients were "so much more work for everyone in the office" that they limited appointments for them. She said if a new patient was really really sick, and listed some serious symptoms, they "might be able to squeeze them in if they had a cancellation". I suggest you move on and find a doctor that is more than "technically" taking new patients, and might actually see you when you need help. Im sure that would help out this office as well by removing the burden of all that extra work that goes with your becoming their patient. That way everybody wins!

A mistake or a miscommunication with the time scheduled has caused my daughter to never again schedule an appointment time with Dr. Hendley, Yes verbatim never again, not to mention the staff and so call management, they were very sarcastic with me and disrespectful. This is no way to talk to anyone, it is very unprofessional. Just an FYI everyone makes mistakes even doctors so just make sure you never make one. This is a first time I have ever encounter such service. Thank goodness for other doctors that are more understanding to their patients and more experienced and professional that show value to their patients. As a business owner if I treated my customers this way I would not be in business today. There are plenty of Doctors that show respect for their patients who understand things happen. I do not recommend this Dr. or practice.

Dr. Marcy, is wonderful! In an age where people are always on "the go" and Its all about "numbers", This young professional, actually, "sits and listens" to you! Not only does she invest precious time, to each of her patients, its also evident, how she truly cares about "YOU"! I had my last doctor for over 15 years and thought I would never change, but I tired of waiting in her office for over an hour, when I had a set appointment time. I figured she had grown her patient base to an unmanageable, practice! My sister is a long time physician, here in San Antonio and referred Doctor Youngdahl, highly when I told her I was in the market for a new G.P. I feel that I have found a treasure in this young professional! If you are searching for a doctor on the northwest side, off of, HWY 151, shes definitely worth looking into.
