The nurse practitioner...dont bother seeing her. Also, good luck scheduling an appointment here. They dont answer the phone, youll have to call them quite a bit to schedule an appoint. They have an answering machine to take a message, but they specifically state not to leave a message on the line. Its pretty ridiculous and Ive been seeing this guy for almost a decade. The doctor is great, hes nice and friendly and knows what he is doing...his staff is just a bit overwhelmed and the practitioner is just....well, shes ok.

Would give half a star but not available. I had a horrible experience with Carol today. I have been going here for 16 years. I waited in the room for over an hour, I wasnt even greeted when she came in. She basically scolded me and just told me I had a cold and asked what I wanted from her... I came in with body aches and sinus pain and she didnt even check me for a fever or look through my nose. I think the total time she spent with me was under 3 minutes. Awful.

Their staff is HORRIBLE. They forget things, put things off, dont pass along messages to Bennet or Baker, dont answer phones, act like youre bothering them by coming in -- just all around really bad staff. Dr. Bennet is great, Carol Baker, the NP, is great. Try to ignore all the incompetent people in between and youll have a pleasant visit.

Its said when a physician is like this. Griped to me about medication that I had taken for a year but, while in the waiting room, a tennis outfit clad person came in screaming her daughter needed adderall in order to pass a test. Rx written, literally in seconds.

To the person whining about NP Carol Baker: I did bother to see her, and by her good judgment I am still above ground today. I have been a patient of Dr. Bennett and NP Baker since 2003, and we are very lucky to have them both in Lakeway.
