My Father is a Patient of Dr Cannon and says great things about his visits all the time so naturally this was my first choice when looking for a new primary care physician. I called in a few months ago to setup an appointment and was told they were not accepting new patients and that I should call back In July... Ok no biggy, i guess i dont mind waiting a bit.. Fast forward to today July 24th, I call to setup an appointment. I ask if they are accepting new patients yet to which the receptionist answers "Sorry, were full". So I ask if there is a waiting list.. she replies "Sorry, were full"... I then try to explain that my father is a patient here which is why I am interested and yet again she replies "Sorry, were full" each time being more condescending... the call was over in under 30 seconds without even asking my name. Not very professional to say the least... -__- Its fine that you cant take on any new patients right now but theres no need to be rude about it when someone calls in... Also, would it kill you to try being helpful? Maybe ask a few questions and suggest a new time for me to call back instead of giving the same blunt response over and over? I have to agree with some of the previous reviews, the staff seems to be jaded or annoyed by call ins and simple tasks that are normally to be expected from administrative staff at a physicians office. I would have given fewer than 1 stars if possible just because of the poor experience over the phone.

Found provider as a UnitedHealth Premium Tier 1 provider through the UnitedHealthcare portal. Says that he accepts new patients. Call in and the receptionist first asks what insurance I have, as they only accept a few select insurances for new patients. Ok--sure--understandable, so I let her know what insurance I have, UnitedHealthcare, and then says "Im very sorry, at this time we are NOT accepting new patients, only established ones." I then ask if they accept Tricare, "Im very sorry, at this time we are NOT accepting new patients, only established ones." I finally ask if they accept even BlueCross BlueShield, Federal Employee Program--broken record kicks in, "Im very sorry, at this time we are NOT accepting new patients, only established ones." I asked then what insurances they DID actually take, and was told that they are not allowed to let you actually know. Awesome. Pretty terrible customer service from the receptionist, as well as stupid policy listing themselves as a UnitedHealth Premium Tier 1 provider, and as accepting new patients, but apparently reneging on that with their policy. Steer clear from this place.

Dr. Cannon is great!!! Although the staff is very stale, doesnt smile or make you feel welcome and seems they hate their job. When I call for 3 days and all I get from the staff is "we left a note on his desk". Doesnt work for me after 3 days. I have left my number to call him so I can get refills before I board a plane and will be gone for 12 days. Their response for the 4 time is "we left a note on his desk". Maybe be proactive and follow through as a staff and you wouldnt have upset patients as much as you do. Every time I am sitting in the waiting room, someone (never fails) puts his staff on blast in the waiting room. Dr. CAnnon couldnt be a better doctor. But the staff seems to be bothered by patients, call ins, refills, and such. If you dont like your job, GET A NEW ONE! TERRIBLE STAFF!!!! Makes the entire office hard to deal with.

Dr. Cannon & Dr. Talafuse go way beyond the call of duty for all of there patients. Saving my life an aiding me each and every time I call or need extra help of any kind. I was a hurting soul until I found this miracle worker. I get along with all of there staff an they get along with me , somehow. I am too old for most of the rest of society. Thanks dlt

Zero stars if possible. I just called trying to make a new patient appointment and the lady just says "Sorry were full" and Im like "....okay, for the rest of the year or what?" and she replies "weve been booked since 2013." WOW. Great for them but is that all youre going to say? No sorry or recommendations for other docs?

My husband, son and I have been patients of Dr. Cannon for over 10 years. I love him and all the girls in the office. Including Ms. Sue Ellen who schedules our appointments quickly. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a PCP to have for life. Dr. Cannon really cares about your health.

Great doc. Friendly and very knowledgeable ...even about infants and jaundice! My whole family goes there. The other doc is great too. They make time for you when you are sick same day in every case I have been through.

Horrible customer service! I called to start a new patient account & they just straight up told me "our practice is full" not helpful at all or willing to refer me to another Doc.
