I have always had very good service when working with different optometrists until we moved here and I saw Dr. Wacasey. If I could give them 0 stars I would. First of all the staff are miserable, hate their jobs and treat you like dirt on their shoes. They are grumpy and make no effort to hide it. The wait time to see the Dr. is terrible. Your appointment was at noon, well you dont actually see the Dr. until 1:15 and they shuffle you around to different parts of the small office. Then once you have had a less than friendly eye exam the DR will try to prescribe you some crappy contact that they are probably trying to clear out and wont let you have the brand that you KNOW works great and fits great. After the eye exam they give you a prescription for your eyeglasses and schedule you for ANOTHER appointment for a contact fitting. Like anyone would ever want to go back there again. So after my second fitting, I told him I hated the lens he gave me, I wanted the original pair all my other optometrists prescribed me (acuvue oasis) and he tries to talk me out of it again!! Well I wouldnt let him, and he finally let me have my contacts, but not without scheduling another fitting!!! Well I couldnt make it to that 3rd fitting and thought he had already given me my prescription because all other optometrists do that after the first visit. So I decided to order my contacts through someone else. Except he NEVER gave me my contact prescription and 3 months later when I called to get it from them, they refused to give it to me until I came in for my 3rd fitting. So when I did, they told me since it had been 3 months that they were going to charge me the initial 50 fee! If that was the initial price then why was I charged 100 the last time I was there?? So I just asked for my prescription and they still wouldnt give it to me (isnt that against the law?) So I am going elsewhere, I will not pay this terrible doctor (again) to withhold my prescription for me again. I am going to spend the 50 initial fee at another doctor. I am so disappointed with this doctor and his staff and will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Dr Greg Wacasey and his staff are the absolute best! He gave us his email just in case we have another eye injury when his office was closed. They were able to see us immediately! Thanks Dr. Wacasey!! We will be coming to your office for all our eye needs!

He will file on both your optical and medical insurance. It is completely unnecessary, and caused me to pay much more out of pocket. Beware!
