First let me say, if you have real problems with your eyes, a family history or something similar that dictates you must be seen by an ophthalmologist (as opposed to an optometrist), then Churner is probably about as good as any. My experience--My appointment was made fairly quickly and the waiting area was comfortable enough--and huge! The staff was friendly enough. I spent about an hour or more there. They talked me into an exam not covered by my insurance, but who am I to argue, right? I saw Dr. Churner for about five minutes of all that time. He lied about side effects of the eye drops he prescribed. He said most patients keep them in the fridge because that way they know the drop has hit the eye. (I have no such difficulty--if it didnt hit my eye, its on my skin; I suspect this was supposed to pass for a joke.) I found the drops were painful and burned for hours. I tried for several months to use the drops. Then I had surgery and forgot to use them. I have used them only sporadically since. Because there was no evidence that I had glaucoma or was even at risk (my eye pressure is within normal limits, but then, I didnt see that for myself, so with this group, who knows? It might be really good. They were not very specific, and I wonder if I was given a lukewarm scare to push me to use these drops and to keep me coming back.) He also said it might make my eyelashes thicker and darken my irises to brown. I dont mind either of those side effects, although I dont care, really. What he didnt say (and I found my reading credible material about the drug--like the NIH site) is that it could darken my eyelids. Yeah, thats what we want, big circles! I dont like liars, particularly liars who think they are funny, and I dont appreciate spending several hundred dollars, plus whatever they billed the insurance, so I could see the doctor for five minutes. Dr. Churner came strongly highly recommended by my optometrist, a man I trust and who has been consistently honest and straighforward. Ill let my optometrist know what I think of Dr. Churner when I see the optometrist next.

I have been a patient for about 10 years and have unique needs and I have never had to wait for a long time. I have had a great experience over the years and highly recommend this clinic. The staff and physicians are very pleasant and efficient.

The past 2 times I have came her with my mom the wait has been ridiculous. Bring a book because there is no wifi. They schedule 4 people for the same time appointment. The staff is really friendly and helpful
