The entire staff and Dr. Tran were super nice, and sensitive to my needs. He explained everything he was doing, without making me feel like a little kid or something. I think what really won me over in the end though was that I didnt feel like anyone was trying to sell me anything, they just wanted me to get what I needed. When I came back up to get my glasses the lady remembered my name and presented me with a nicely wrapped bottle of lens cleaner, a cloth, and some chocolates in a bag. I thought she was going to try to sell it to me, as thats what usually happens at the eye doctor. But no, she just gave it to me and told me if I ever run out to come back and they would fill it up. I dont know, its the little things that make a place so awesome. But yeah, I love it and plan on going there every year for my annual exam. My bill was kinda pricey... but I have medicaid so Im not too worried about it. Nor am I sure how high exams run. I had a thorough exam, the whole 9 yards, and also got prescription lenses and frames that were priced at $165. my bill was about $400, but my insurance covered everything luckily. (oh and they take medicaid which is a huge plus.) either way check them out. nicest optometrist in garland most definitely.

If I could rate this company a zero I would. I made an appointment on their website via zoo doc. It did not warn me that the last appointment of the day only had a five-minute grace. And every other doctor Ive ever been to has a 15 minute grace. I was exactly 15 minutes late and I did not get any warning whatsoever or even a courtesy phone call to let me know that this is the case although you would think that they would have experienced the same issue before especially when someone is trying to make it there during rush hour traffic in Dallas Texas. They canceled my first appointment because they couldnt verify benefits which I verified the next day, and acted as if they were put out by the fact that I wanted to use my vision insurance instead of health insurance (which didnt cover the cost). I tried to call to reschedule and the staff refused to return my calls, so I finally rescheduled online with zero notification about the grace. This process has taken 3 weeks when I am super concerned about my daughters eye turning inward (which doctor said wasnt a big deal to rush, which didnt make me feel better), I get there and they wont see us. Ridiculous and awful customer service!

Having worn contacts/glasses for well over 15 years, I have been to several offices spread out over 3 states. Dr. Trans professionalism and care are some of best experiences I have had. Another great experience was at the University of Houstons University Eye Institute - guess who trained there? Dr. Tran! The clinician I saw then was wholly invested in my vision and the problems I had been having and I see this in Dr. Tran as well. He is thorough in his assessments, explanations, and followup. He fitted me in several toric contact lens to ensure a comfortable fit without loosing any clarity and contracted with a premiere company to cut patients lens. The wait for my frames was a little longer than desirable, but well worth the wait, considering my -8.00ish vision and astigmatism. What else can I say? The associates were courteous and the customers were even friendly! One middle-aged female patron made a comment about me not telling the entire office "hello" (thats how friendly the environment is!). To add to that, Dr. Tran is handsome, shows humility, and very much approachable. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

I wasnt quite sure what to expect on my first visit to the office; my experience was better than I could have ever anticipated. Sometimes I am a creature of habit, especially when it comes to my eyes so, needless to say, I was a little apprehensive about switching doctors. Dr. Tran had me at his version of "hello"! I truly adore the doctor and the staff at Epic Eye Care. One of the best things, besides their friendly and inviting personalities, is the fact that they dont do that crazy air puff test...I would always dread that particular test whenever I had eye exams. Additionally, they have this really neat feature that sends a text message to confirm appointments and notify you of various other pieces of info. My experiences (my sons, ages 17 and 12, are also patients and ABSOLUTELY love Dr. Tran) have been the BEST I have ever had when it comes to eye exams, glasses, contacts, etc. If you are searching for an eye care professional, look no further, Dr. Tran is by far the BEST!

Ive been wearing either glasses or contacts for 50 years and I have to say that Dr Tran is the best optometrist Ive ever been to. Outstanding effort to make sure your vision is the best it can be. Friendly and helpful staff as well...About 3 years ago I took off 2 hrs early from work to take my son to an appointment with a different doctor that we used to go to and by the time I got him out of school we were 15 minutes late and the doc wouldnt see us. We happened to pass by Epic Eye Care on the way home and stopped in to see if by chance he could get in. Never been there before. He took my son in as a walk up and we liked him so much that my whole family has been going there ever since. The way he treated us that day and every time since has really left an impression on us.

Ive had my eyewear for about a year now and I couldnt be happier. The Joe Aboud frames are sooo comfortable and the scrip was right on. I have a difficult script but "doc" nailed it. Im so looking forward to my annual appt. for updated lenses, and Z87 safety glasses. Which, if you out there didnt know, your second pair is half off. Dont be fooled by the adds of "Eye Masters" or "Lens Crafters" if you want quality, people who care, service thats not mass produced, a staff thats trained, knows how to work with your insurance, an exam that addresses your needs, then Epic Eye Care is your only choice. Do I sound a little predjudice? Well, when youve been to the "chain stores" then you experience Real Service, well, You wont go back. Thank you EEC

Dr. Tran is the best! I recommend anyone and everyone to him. The majority of my family goes to him and I will continue to recommend people. Everyone has been very pleased. The office staff is wonderful as well always very professional, accommodating and friendly. It is a very hospitable environment and Dr. Tran is very thorough. I have never experienced the kind of thoughtfulness and complete satisfaction at any other Dr.s office that I have ever visited. He has caught things that other Dr.s have either missed or did not pay attention to before with myself and a lot of my family members. If you want your eyes checked by a Dr. who takes the time and gives your eyes the importance that they require then you for sure need to go see Dr. Tran.
