Update: 5 years later: Cannot believe it has been 5 years since I wrote following review. Everyone within the household (5 patients) continues to see Dr Garza. Very satisfied customers. Only one thing has changed: they are busy now so you dont get the time you used to. But it is still better than other places I had been in my life so still maintaining 5 Star rating. Thanks. Original review: This is my first review ever because I don’t trust online reviews being in IT knowing exactly what happens behind the scenes. The experience, however, forced me to write this review as it was one of the best visits ever since I started wearing eyeglasses 25 years ago. Dr. Garza was "less experienced" per my standards I admit (I tend to go to folks with 20+ years of experience) but closer by so I decided to give it a shot. Feeling important and being treated for medical conditions not money is what I expect everywhere I go for health related issues. This place actually felt like a home. Did you notice a girl sitting on the counter in pictures? It has a message - that they are less formal and more friendly where you are treated like a friend ... smart marketing Dr. Garza :-) Things I liked: 1) I am very sensitive about freedom of choice and hate when optometrists or the staff tries to sell their crappy frames to me right after coming out of the examination room. As a matter of fact I stopped going to some really great optometrist in the past for this very reason. Was expecting the same here and waiting for a "push sale" to buy a pair but was disappointed :-) My prescription slightly changed but Dr. Garza said there was no change in medical terms and that I could keep wearing my existing pair when I had told him I came for a new pair since lens had some minor scratches on it (I have expensive pair an idiot can tell but again selling me new pair was not on his agenda obviously). 2) Cannot have better staff. Joyous, young, and happy professionals you can see love their job. If Dr. Garza is reading this review he should give his staff some bonus for inspiring a Type A personality to write a positive review about his place - lol - Believe me it is hard to make someone like me happy for a service ... someone who happens to be in Quality Control pointing fingers all day long. 3) Optometrists are not Glaucoma Specialists or Eye Surgeons… Dr. Garza should be compared with other Optometrists. He might not the best but he is not bad either. If you have something serious you should not be going to an Optometrist anyways. For normal stuff he is knowledgeable and friendly who spends time with you. Would he be able to see everything wrong with your eyes? Probably not but that is the risk we take in our lives even when starting a car to go to work everyday. He was knowledgeable and explained things well. Thats all I cared about. Things I did not like: Only one item here: Limited selection of frames (I know ... but .. wait .. maybe that is why they did not push me to buy frame because they did not have anything to sell? lol). If you are looking for an all in one type place you have a choice of 100s of frames then this place is not for you. All in all 5 stars like everybody else did. I am taking my kids and family here too when it is their turn to go and see an "eye doctor"

At had a great visit with Dr. GArza. He was excellent and detailed when examining my eyes. He gave me a lot of options in terms of contacts and even went further to explain my eligibity for lasik. His staff was soo helpful and considerate. I ended leaving the most satisfied ive been from a eye doctor visit. Before coming to this facility, the eye doctors i saw never gave me a trial pair of anything. I left her with drops and 10-day supply trial of contacts and the front staff found out that those contacts wouldnt be fully covered in my plan they even exchanged the previous 10-day supply (of which i used 2 pairs) with a 10-day supply of a different brand of contacts.They were so professional and courteous. im going to bring my husband and children here too.

I visited Dr. Gazas office this week for the first time. His staff is very friendly. Doctor Garza was very professional. He was not rushed and took his time to examine me well. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. My little daughter was with me during the examination. Dr. Garza and his staff are very kids friendly and my daughter felt very comfortable in this office. They are very high tech :) I was able to schedule my appointment online and fill all the forms online before going to his office. So I did not have to show up early to fill paper work before my appointment :) Overall I am extremely satisfied with Dr Garza and his staff surely recommend them to others. Thank you!

When I got a new job (and therefore new insurance) I was seriously sad that my old eye doctor (of almost a decade) wasnt on my insurance anymore. I was sure I wouldnt find someone Id be as comfortable with, but I am so glad I was wrong! Dr. Garza is someone who really cares about his job, and that means he can come across a little intense (i.e. passionate) about topics like contact care, and eye care. The thing is that it told me that he wants his patients to be healthy for a long time to come, and its kind of refreshing to see that level of passion in a doctor. I really enjoyed the office staff as well, everyone was friendly and nice, and overall it is a place I would recommend to others!

Had a pretty bad experience with the staff. Dr. Garza was great and eye check up went well. But when I was leaving one of the staff members called me back after I had left the office and walking towards my car in rain. He asked me if I had checked-out and I said yes but he still insisted that I go back in and check at the front desk. It was pretty rude and implied as if I was running away without paying or something. I went back wasted my 5 minutes and was told there was nothing else (which I knew and had told the guy who insisted I check-out again) A little courtesy for long term patients along with a little trust goes a long way! I and my family may not come back to this place again.

BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! The staff was extremely friendly, they made me feel at home, and like a valued client. The office is very "posh" well decorated, and numerous selections of eye glasses from Prada to Calvin Klein. They have no name brands as well if that is not what you are looking for. They explained my insurance coverage to me in detail, and worked hard to find me a pair of glasses I like. Dr. Garza has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have every seen! He is so kind and caring, and takes time to really hear you, and explain what he finds to you. I give them the highest rating possible. If you need an eye exam, or glasses.. this is the place to GO!

I had been searching for a new optometrist for myself and my family and decided to try Complete Family Eye Care after doing much online research and reading all the positive reviews they had generated. We were not disappointed! The office is very attractive and the staff very friendly. Dr. Garza was very thorough and did not rush through the visit, but rather took time to explain everything and answer all our questions. Dr. Garza was also very good with our teenage son explaining things to him about his eye exam and contacts that he wears. Tammy was great and very helpful during our visit, particularly with picking out glasses. We will return!
