First let me start by saying, we have always been happy with the doctors. The employees have always been great too, however in the last six months it has been very disappointing! When I took my 6month old for his vaccines we saw a new nurse that hearded us in like cattle, never weighted my child, ask how he was, or even let me see the doctor. For a well child check we have always been treated great until this visit. Now five months later my husband is very ill. I call in the morning and they cannot see him and tell us to go to carenow. As a family of five who has been using this practice for the last five years we didnt expect that. My husband goes to care now, gets taken care of then starts getting worse Friday. I call our doctors office again and they cant see him again!! Goes back to carenow and tested positive for the flu. Now we are into the next week, its Wednesday and hes maybe 70% better. He calls office this morning and they have yet to return his call. This office has changed how they care about their patients in the last few months and I have referred many people and now Im saying we would NEVER RECOMMEND!!!

Went here for an infection I had on the palm of my hand and ended up with a $234 bill for a 10 minute visit that wasnt even from the doctor. It was from his assistant from what she told me. I only gave it one star just because the receptionist was so nice. I was supposed to get a call from a dermatologist that they supposedly were me to and never got a call back. They took a little bit of blood and the test came back negative, but come to find out few weeks later I still had the same problem. So I went to another doctor that actually knew what he was talking about and knew it was a staph infection the minute he walked in. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the severity of a staph infection and what it can do to you. I would definitely go find another doctor and save your money for them. This place does not do their job correctly.

I adore mark hammonds. Laid back, kind, caring... my children go to them too from the time my daughter was 1 years old. However he has a medical assistant in there who is completely rude. Everyone knows she is. If I call and tell someone that a lady in there just got finished yelling at me. They all know immediately who I am talking about without even needing to say the name. I hope the office manager (who is VERY NICE) looks at this employees behavior.

Another pleasant experience at DFW Family MD. This time I was seen by Rachel Wheeler PA. She was very nice and very thorough in questions and examination. I will most certainly be satisfied being seen by her next time. Medical assistant Daisy was very good as well. Been going to Dr Hammonds for over 20 years now, and I trust no one else for my medical needs. Dr Hammonds is honest, straightforward, knowledgeable and caring. Unlike most other doctors who seem to try to just herd patients through as quick as possible, Dr Hammonds actually sits down and listens. Best primary care doctor I have ever used by FAR!

We love dr Hammonds my whole family go to him including our children. I will say for adults if your sick you will have to wait a few days to be seen because he is a very busy dr. But they get my young children in the same day with fevers because mark is very concerned for them. Im not crazy about his assistant so I always request him.

Nope Not Again

Dr. Hammond is a wonderful doctor, especially towards my children. The only reason why I gave them a 4 is because they are very busy and it is really hard (for me) to schedule an appointment especially is it is right away (ie. Doctors note for work). Other than that Dr. Hammond is an incredible doctor.
