My son had his wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Reed Gibbins, who only goes to this clinic once or twice a month, and I think he did a wonderful job. His assistant was great, too. I also ran into one of the dentists there and he was very nice as well. HOWEVER, I cant say that I would EVER go back there for ANYTHING because of their unprofessional front office staff!! 1. I had to call more than 10 times, leave voicemails, AND email them before Chaquella finally answered the phone. Instead of being professional or apologetic, she had an attitude!! All I wanted the day before was 1) pre-op instructions, which I got from the doctors assistant and 2) what my share of the procedure was going to be (Id already waited an entire week with no contact). By the time Chaquella finally got back to me with the amount it was only two hours prior to my sons surgery, so my hands were tied. She asked if I was still planning on keeping my appointment even after I told her my hands were tied and wed be there. Ugh!! Anyway, I was displeased with how long she made us wait to speak with her, but whatever... Chaquella apologized to me in the office and all was well. She told me how much my share would be, but that I wouldnt have to pay until after the surgery because "you never know if the doctor runs into any problems and the services/fees could change." Great. They call my son back, I go with him to speak to the doctor, then go back to the waiting room. Chaquella tells me shell take my payment now. (What?! But you JUST said...). Anyway, I pay $641.20 and she gave me a transaction receipt only. I asked for a detailed receipt and she says shes unable to pull it up. She says shell keep trying and will have it ready by the time my son is ready to go home. That didnt happen. My son had already been wheeled out through the back and was sitting in 100 degree heat while Chaquella talked on the phone. I interrupted to ask her to just email it to me...and she did. When I calculated the amounts owed vs. paid, it appeared to me that I paid more than my required 40%, so I emailed her. Nothing. No reply. I emailed again one week later, this time included the front office email address. Nothing. No reply. I emailed them a third time four days later, this time including another email address I had on file...NOTHING...NO REPLY! I called my insurance company and they told me what my share was supposed to be and, sure enough, it was less than what they charged me. I see why Chaquella didnt want to give me the detailed receipt. Now Im having to file a grievance with the insurance company because nobody at Rockwall Modern Dentistry cares to respond to patients who are overcharged and treated like second-class citizens. I dont even know if the doctors there know what their staff are doing to them. My neighbor experienced the same issues with the front office staff. Never, never, NEVER going back there again unless they change their front office staff. Also, I plan on posting this same review wherever I can until someone from that clinic responds to my email(s), calls back, apologizes, and/or REFUNDS MY MONEY. If this review is taken down, Ill repost it.

I am posting this review for my girlfriend due to a system error when she attempted to post this: "When I came in for my pre-op consultation, it was phenomenal. The staff was nice, the x-ray tech had me in tears laughing and the dentist who did the consultation, was so sweet and made my fear of dentists disappear almost immediately. However, at todays wisdom teeth extraction, I was beyond disappointed with the service I received. I was already extremely nervous because I dislike IVs, and the attitudes I received from the surgical team were VERY unprofessional. It began with a question if I could be put under due to medical reasons which I totally umderstood. But, the way Dr. Yoo and his staff spoke to me was condescending, demeaning and disrespectful. By this time, I was in tears and ready to just leave. Dr. Christopher Steiger was called in and he immediately took how I felt and calmed the situation. He spoke to me as an adult and not condescending. Once I was escorted to the operation room is where the real problems occurred. I excused myself to the restroom to clean myself up from crying and my boyfriend told the staff he would stay in the room until my IV was in (since I have an extreme fear of IVs). While I was gone, the surgical staff spoke about me very rudely saying, "shes just a whiny baby" and "theres no problem with how we wanted to do it" and "shes stupid to think wed hurt her". After I returned, I sat in the chair and Dr. Yoo began to handle me quite roughly looking for a vein. I exclaimed several times that it hurt how hard he was stretching my skin and he only scoffed at me, rolled his eyes and continued to pull hard on my skin. At this point, I just quietly cried that someone would ever treat their patient this way. I wanted it done as soon as possible so I could just leave. When I felt like the gas wasnt working, I asked them if I was breathing correctly through it. I didnt know you were suppose to breathe in AND out of your nose. Their response was rude and it just made new feel like a moron. I told them that I had never used laughing gas therefore I didnt know. I am disgusted that staff would EVER speak about a patient in this way and act in the manner that they did.... It was MY choice to not want to be only partially put down during my procedure. Given that I have anxiety, I did not care to listen to the breaking of my teeth to have them extracted. I honestly am disappointed that I did not have as great of a visit as the first time. My advice is that if you need any surgical work here DO NOT COME AND RUN FOR THE HILLS. But, if you are only coming for cleanings and x-rays, best place to come. "

I have a major fear of dental work. Stemming from fear of pain and an extreme dislike for metal scraping against ANY other surface. Especially teeth. I had to have an emergency filling done yesterday and doctor Steiger took my fears into consideration and walked me through the whole thing. It was perfect. I am actually looking forward to getting the rest done. And then today I went in to see their oral surgeon and he was amazing as well. Got the work done under general anesthesia and woke up and my ride took me home. My dental work will likely take a few years. But Im happy to do it with them. Dr Steiger is the best!

I went in for my first visit today and was greeted with a smile and seen within minutes of arrival. I was able to do my medical history online which is great for time management. Dr. Holmes and his staff were very professional, friendly, and put my anxiety at ease very quickly. I thought I was in need of a root canal, but Dr. Holmes said that I wasnt. They gave me options and explained the pros and cons of all of them. We even paused during the procedure to watch a funny segment on Ellen and had a good laugh together. If youre looking for a dentist with your dental health in mind, then I highly recommend Modern Dentistry!
