Our dog became sick while we were visiting family near Boerne over Christmas. The 1st vet I called in Boerne turned us away so I called Boerne St. Vet next & they got us right in. Dr. Huehn started with the least expensive test to determine what was wrong and was very good at explaining everything in terms we could understand. Our dog had to be hospitalized for several days and Dr. Huehn kept us updated numerous times a day - even on Christmas Eve. After several updates on Christmas day he called to say our dog was ready to go home and met us at the clinic to pick him up. I was very impressed with his dedication to helping our old dog even over the holidays. The whole experience could not have gone any better and we are so glad we chose Dr. Huehn..

We made an appointment with this clinic for our 3 dogs. We got a phone call at 9 at night the night before to reschedule due to the vet having to perform a surgery. We understood and rescheduled for a week later. When my husband took our dogs he waited for 30 minutes before asking the receptionist how much longer it would be and she very rudely replied, "You were a walk-in so it will take longer." My husband then told her our situation and they did nothing to rectify it. The vets excuse was that, "Sometime these things happen." We will be using another vet clinic and our dogs did not receive the services we very desperately needed. I will not recommend these people to anyone, ever.

We wouldnt take our fur-family members to anyone but Dr Huehn. He is very thorough and patient with very nervous mommies like me. Ive called him after hours, holidays and weekends and to his credit, hes called us back within 30min or less. The staff, especially Andrew, are very nice and professional. The office is always immaculate. Dr Huehn has helped us through the loss of four of fur-boys. He understands that theyre just not dogs, theyre our family members. Anyone that doesnt appreciate Dr Huehns experience will never be satisfied with any veterinarian. Dr Joel Huehn is simply the best !✅

Amazing service! They always do whats best for my dog and they try alternative methods that are less invasive first before proceeding forward. Really respect their professional opinion. Have been to many other clinics in San Antonio and none can conpare. Very clean facility and friendly staff Andrew at the front desk is awesome!!!

Love!!! Dr Huehn & his staff. Very compassionate, when my elderly Persian had a stroke and needed to be put to sleep they gave me time & space. Then a week or so later they sent a condolences card.
