My family and I moved here seven years ago and one thing I didnt look forward to was finding a family dentist. I figured it would be impossible or difficult to find someone that: * All four of us were comfortable with; * That had convenient and family-friendly hours; and * That were kind and compassionate and patient with disabled patients that sometimes may have random or unpredictable problems or special needs. I cannot believe I found a place thats even better than Id hoped: * My children have almost never had to miss school for an appointment; * Any emergency call is attended to immediately; * My entire family loves Dr. Riewe and his entire staff; * We have 400% faith and confidence in them; * They have always been extremely kind and accommodating; and * Never once has there been an issue with billing or insurance. Needless to say, I highly recommend Stone Oak Dental to everyone and their friends and families, too.

My wife and I have been Dr. Riewies patients for over ten years and hes an excellent dentist. We are very particular about the quality of our dental care and we have gone to considerable trouble to find the best dentist. Without getting into personal details of our dental care, I can say without hesitation that Dr. Riewie is one of the very best. Hes competent, in touch with all the latest techniques and materials, has a good way with his patients, is sensitive to patients with dental anxiety (me) and has various ways of effectively handling it, and he has a great staff, including his dental hygienists. I know that Dr. Riewie has very few openings for new patients in his practice. If you get the opportunity to become one of his patients, dont hesitate. You wont be sorry.

Dishonest and unethical! This office will tell you that they are covered in-network by your insurance even though they are not. We specifically asked their office if our procedure would be covered by our insurance and they indicated that it would. When asked about why we were getting a bill, their office manager indicated that all of their employees know that they are out-of-network and that the employees would not tell us otherwise (basically saying that we were lying). If they are willing to lie about something that will obviously get caught when the bill arrives...what else are they lying about? Also, their services are much more expensive that other dental practices in the same area.

I have been a client of Dr. Riewe for like 11 years. He is very professional and yet very easy to talk to. I used to live in the Rogers Ranch area, but now I live in Helotes. I still go to Dr. Riewe because he has been the only dentist to successfully deaden the areas he works on -- really. Trust me, I he is a very, very good and knowledgeable DDS. If you cant think of what to talk to him about just mention baseball. Also, I think hes from Corpus Christie. Anyway, I think hes way cool. OK. And remember always, floss, floss and floss . . .

I have been a dental patient of Dr. Riewe for over 12 years. He systematically replaced my old amalgam fillings from the 1960s and put caps on my teeth. A few weeks ago, I had a severe headache caused by an tooth and scheduled an emergency appointment with Dr. Reiwe. He immediately determine the cause and reviewed my options. Dr Riewe did the necessary root canal right then. Problem solved! He and his assistants deserve 5 stars specifically for this work and for the maintenance of my dental hygiene over the years. My husband and I have one kid in high school and a kid in college, we all receive our dental care at Stone Oak dental. We are a military family who moved from military installation to military installation for more than 20 years so as far experiences with dentists and their offices are concerned, you name it, we have experienced it. At Stone Oak dental, the office is immaculate, the staff is friendly and Dr. Riewe is a very skilled, experienced dentist. He is truly the best in San Antonio.
