Ok so I would totally give this group 5 stars if it was just based on our pediatrician, Dr. Jones! He is in American Fork and he is the most incredible doctor we have ever had. Too bad they gave him all of his patients when another doctor left on a mission. When I tried to schedule an appointment at the end of July, he was booked out until OCTOBER! What is the point of having a pediatrician if your kids cant get in with him for 4 months. By that time, they wouldnt even need to be seen so that is the first super annoying thing. They should not schedule that many patients with one doctor because then you can NEVER GET IN WITH HIM. Dr. Jones....we love you which makes this that much more frustrating. The MAIN REASON they get 1 star is that they are completely inefficient and I could run their practice more efficiently. I am an undergraduate student and my husband is a dental student. We have five children ages five and under which makes life very busy. I was behind on their wellness checks and all 5 kids needed appointments. They REFUSED to let me schedule back to back appointments with the nurse practitioners, claiming that it is distracting if two kids are together with the parents. Im sorry, but how is it any different if I have to bring all 5 kids into one appointment because I cant find a baby sitter? Do you think I could pay any better attention to the practitioner with five kids in the room? They confirmed that they had 3 or four consecutive appointments open but they refused to let me take the slots so I was forced to come in 5 different times in 2 days. I was forced to come in for morning and afternoon appointments separately. I had to pull kids out of school and take them back only to do the same thing a few hours later with another kid. They obviously have no regards or appreciation for busy mothers and belittled my intelligence when they claimed that I wouldnt be able to give appropriate attention to each child because another one would be in the room. I have extensive management experience and it would save them a lot of money to allow back to back appointments as they would spend less time checking families in, prepping the rooms and transitioning clients. I would imagine that 2 appointments with two separate families take up 1 hour (two half hour time slots). If they allowed one family to bring in two children for those two slots, they could probably finish the appointments in 40 minutes. And worst of all, most of the parents will have to bring other children with them anyways so how is it any less distracting! I asked several times for help with this situation and I was just talked down to as the receptionists just kept giving robotic and emotionless response "you cant give each kid the appropriate attention". I am still dumbfounded that they had no sympathy or concern that I had to come in 5 times in 2 days as if I have all the time in the world to run my kids in and out all day for wellness checks! One star....... for sure as they could care less about me or my time. Dr. Jones....you get 5 stars and I wish you were running the group!

Dr. Conner with the American Fork office was referred to us by many other parents in our Down Syndrome support groups. Everyone praised her for her accessibility, professionalism, attention to detail, love for special needs children, experience in working with special needs children. We have found all of this to be true, and cherish our experience with her. She is our 2nd pediatrician for our now 7m.o. son Austen who has Down Syndrome and a heart defect that required surgery in Sept/2011. She has been Austens pediatrician since he was 4m.o., he was born 4/1/11. We look forward to seeing her as she is always a wealth of information, always reviews his file beforehand so she is current for each visit. She consults with our many other specialists regularly, and does a wonderful job of interpreting all that we have to do with Austens care, regardless of which area of specialty. She has referred us to a parent mentor for advice & understanding. She also has us working with a contact person within her practice in who assists us in scheduling appointments with our specialists, and reviews tests results a.s.a.p. so we dont have to wait until the next visit. She also makes herself available by cell at any time, always encouraging phone calls/questions. She does a wonderful job of explaining how best to navigate within the Primary Children/University of Utah systems, so as to relieve us of frustrations, set appropriate expectations, & most importantly care for our son the best & most efficient way possible! We love her & hope to always work with her! Sincerely, Shannon & Paul & Austen Nielsen

I absolutely loved Dr Conner and they were a great practice when they actually call you back, i have a 3 month old, who at 2 months was refusing to eat and when she did threw everything up and had a high fever i called their office 4 times that day and left messages with the medical assistant and receptionist (dr connor is only working 2 days a week so i wanted to get her in that day) but NEVER got a call back, however the Dr on call at North Valley Pediatrics called me back immediately after calling and met me in the office at 7:30 when i told him my situation he was debating hospitalizing my baby because her fever was so high and she was so dehydrated... I made a follow up visit and they wont let you see another Dr in the practice you have to see the APRN which would be fine but this is my baby and she needs to see a dr, we could never get with one. Again yesterday, baby is almost 4 months and has again had a high fever for a week now and i talked to the medical assistant who said she would call me back, again NEVER DID!!!! Needless to say we are transferring her to a new pediatrician first thing this morning and its very unfortunate because we really loved Dr Connor and thought she would be our family pediatrician for years to come and with all future babies.

I have been so grateful for, and pleased with, my experience at Utah Valley Pediatrics in American Fork. Dr. Glade is so caring, thorough, proficient, kind, and helpful. He always takes the time for me to ask questions, and provides answers in which I have full confidence. I appreciate his years of experience, and the fact that they have not dulled the kindness and individual concern he displays with each visit. I also appreciate that he is interested in me, and how I feel as a mother. His nurses and staff are always a pleasure to work with as well. They work hard to make things as easy as possible for me, and theyre always friendly. The environment is such that my children literally get excited to go to the doctors. Each room has a theme, and they love finding out which one theyll get to go to. There is never more than a couple of minutes in the waiting room before the nurse comes to get you, and as a mother of almost 6, I really appreciate that. I am completely satisfied with my experience and look forward to having Dr. Glade as my childrens doctor through their growing-up years.
