I was given emergency guardianship of my mother and was only able to give them a few hours notice I was bringing her from out of state to admit her. We had her doctors office fax her medical information to them. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. My mother was very frightened and upset, but the staff was amazing with her. They had her room all ready and as we prepared it with her things, they brought her a warm sandwich and some soup. They knew right away the other residents that would be a good fit to introduce her to so she could begin making friends. The paperwork was quick and easy. The facility was clean and beautiful. The courtyard was gorgeous, something my mother will really enjoy. After years of worry and a stress filled day, it was so nice to return home, feeling like my mother was going to be in a safe and loving place, close to me. Edited: Things went downhill from the first day. My mother was evaluated for physical therapy and I was told someone would get back to me on how it went, but no one did. Our experience was only 2 weeks when we learned my mother needed only an assisted living facility, so we moved her. We had an employee at Mt Ogden tell her that the new facility we had selected was the "worst place in Ogden!" This upset my mother terribly and it took a lot of work and time to convince her it was a good facility. We tried to report this upsetting event to an administrator, but he would not call us back. I changed my review from 5 to 3 stars.

My mother was in need of some rehabilitation due to her stay in the hospital. She was 78 years old. We checked the 5 star ratings for this facility and toured it. They assured us that the staff was well trained and attentive and that the food was great. We were looking at 3 different facilities near their home and this one seemed to fit her needs. We entrusted her well being to them but after the first two days as I checked in with my mom, she would push the call button to use the restroom and no one person would come or even walk by. She got up and went herself risking a fall. After I complained the realized that her button wasnt working. I bought her a pink phone charger for her cell phone so I could call her at any time as we live out of state. After the second day, the staff stold her charger. I complained to 3 different staff members to replace it. The food was horrible. My mom couldnt even stomach it and started loosing weight so I would have meals brought in from somewhere else. After a few weeks my mothers condition relapsed after they told me all her tests came back normal we decided to call an ambulance and put her back in the hospital. After she arrived in the hospital and they took the same tests, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and was toxic and passed away hours later. My father went back to the facility to retrieve her belongings and they had stolen most of her expensive makeup. I would never recommend this facility to any of your loved ones. Horrible experience !

They are one of the most money hunger. Poor care plans I have ever see. I seen a lady walk around asking for stuff. she even fall down and no nurses where around to help. People get they food taken away before they can eat. Therapy is inpatient and will not let the patients eat their food. they come and get them just before so they dont get to eat because they dont leave the food. 3 time my family member when with out eating. It took a week to get them out. The dr only seen them 2 in a mouth that they was there. I had to go in and tell them I was taking them out and they told me I cant its against medical advice when his normal doctors didnt know he was still in there they thought them was released a week ago. It took a day and a half after that to get them out. Now they want us to pay for the day they failed to release them.

I was injured in a car accident and my doctor recommended physical therapy. I went to Mount Ogden for outpatient therapy and had a very good experience. The billing office worked well with me and helped me with insurance authorizations. Brooke, the therapy director was very attentive and helpful through the process. Gordon, my physical therapist, communicated well and helped create a good plan for addressing my pain. He was really attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, I was very impressed and would highly recommend the Mt. Ogden therapy team.

The staff at Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center have taken such good care of my dad. The staff is amazing! He loves all the nurses and physical therapists. He is always commenting on how nice they all are and how he is fed like a king. It gives me great comfort to know he is well taken care of and that all of his needs are being met. I am so grateful we chose Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center to care for my dad. He is very happy and telling jokes every time I see him and that is invaluable. Thank you!!!

I have personally been in Mt. Ogden many, many time and this is the best facility in the Northern Utah area. I have seen all the awards they have received and was very, very impressed. Everyone is super friendly and I know the personnel are top notch. In one of their latest state surveys, they received 0, that is a ZERO, in tags. This is extremely hard to do, so the facts do not lie. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

I was highly impressed with the staff while my grandmother was here but now that my mother is in here with terminal cancer Im not impressed. One of the members of staff told my mother that she wasnt liked by the staff and other patients and they have been nothing but rude to her and have acted like its always been a big deal to help her with what she needs.
