We had a poor experience with CNS. My father was on hospice for 2 months with CNS because he has MS. It took a long time for things to go into place. During the last week with CNS, my father-in-law started to bleed from the cathater. He bled for 3 days blood clots. We tried calling the nurse, but she said for him to just stay in bed and everything would be okay. The aides were good, and could see the problem. They would call the nurse, but the nurse nor the doctor came to see him. Finally the nurse came and decided to pull out the cathater. This made him bleed even more and caused the urine to build up inside of him. The night nurse came that night, who we liked came and she said he was about to die, so we rushed him to the hospital and he spent a few days in ICU. Turns out that he had a UTI infection for weeks which could have been preventable. Obviously the point of hospice is to be in comfort, but dying from a UTI is anything but comfort. We have since switched to Aspire Hospice, and they have been absolutely incredible and treat him as if he were a relative. They are a more organized company and they have meetings with the doctor to discuss patients. Aspire will go out of there way to serve my father and will suggest things he might need that we havent even thought of. Night and day difference. Go with Aspire.

If you had employees who: (1) spent more time on their phones than taking care of your patients or customers, (2) housekeepers who didnt clean, (3) employees who never let you know when they were going to be to work and showed up whenever they pleased, (4) supervisors who listen to your complaints about the above 3 problems but do nothing about it, and (5) claim they dont have anyone to cover during the times you request but magically have someone available when you say you want to discontinue their services but then allow their employees to show up whenever they pleased anyway - would those employees be working for you very long?

There was horrible communication on the part of the nurse Tielor. He would call periodically and come to check on my husband even fewer than that. We had a CNA that just walked in to our house which we had requested never be done scared the hell out of my husband. We only had one really good CNA Samantha who actually did her job. The rest could not get my husband in and out of the shower though he only weighs about 125lbs and they sure as hell didnt help him clean himself. He has only one good arm so only half of him got clean. So in short if you are looking for a decent homecare company these guys arent the ones
