I typically would not do a review online because quite frankly I believe most businesses in the medical field get a bad rap because of family emotions being raw from whatever is putting their family into a place like this to begin with. However, after seeing first handedly the stuff that goes on in this place I feel I owe it to others out there to be aware! Be aware of this facility watch your loved ones closely and if you feel, see, witness anything dont keep your mouth shut about it. My mom had a major back surgery and went to Harrison Pointe Rehabilitation to getv the help she needed so she could come home. Her back was fused from T2 all the way to the bottom. She was supposed to be getting rehab but this did not happen while she was there theweek and a half that she was. She was getting no help at all. She would push the nurses button and nobody would come she would yell out and all it would do was make the aides mad. Her foot would fall off the bed and she would ask for help to get it back in, the aide said to my mom "You must like it because you continue to get it out, shut off the light and walk away. They would put her brace on too tight so when she would try to eat she couldnt swallow and then get mad at her for not eating her foid. Those are 2 accounts my mom remembers very vividly. As her daughter heres what i experienced first hand: The first day my mom approved at this facility at approximately 11:40 am. I went to visit her at 7 pm and they had "forgot she was there" So they made her a tuna sandwich that night because they were out of food. (I justified it that she was new and human error so as long as she ate it was ok.) My mom then started becoming very agitated they wouldnt help her so shed try to do it herself several times I walked into her half in and half out of the bed. She became confused as to what day it was And was not herself as the days progressed on. The nurses button on one occasion was unplugged from the wall, she was flat on her back in the floor one day Thats when I started dropping in 3 our 4 times a day. The last day she was there they forgot to put her oxygen back on her, she had been flat on her back asleep for over 45 minutes this day she became unresponsive i was there from 1045 am to about 1 pm and shed open her eyes but would not focus on me. The nurse said he had given her a anti anxiety pill because she was agitated at breakfast, when I went back with my 4 year old she was still unresponsive. I asked the nurse as it was a different nurse if it could be because of that anti anxiety pill and was told "it wasnt charted" I then said "what does that mean?" To which i got the reply "if its not charted it didnt happen." My mom was then taken to a hospital finally got her to wake up, they put her in the acute rehab inside the hospital and she flourished. Shehad people who cared, who would help her get up, put her for back into the bed etc. Less than 2 weeks later Im happy to report my mom is home off oxygen however because of the surgery she still needs help with getting her foot into the bed. I would not recommend this facility to even my worst enemy. It was the midst horrible, draining, and mentally traumatizing thing Ive ever been through. If you have lived ones here I would recommend staying in top of things drop in alot even though its draining.

Their website states that youll feel welcome the minute you walk through the doors and we sure did! Their website also states that it is Ogdens hidden gem - Im here to tell you that it is Skilled Nursing Centers in all of Northern Utahs hidden gem! I did my research when trying to decide where my 54 year old sister who has a life debilitating disease similar to Parkinsons, should reside for the care she now needs. I PICKED WASATCH CARE CENTER HANDS DOWN. I called and visited numerous other facilities and did not get the quick responses, the heartfelt concern or the assistance with the application process that Wasatch gives. Their entire staff went the extra mile to help with everything needed to get my sister admitted, moved in and settled. Extra kudos to Kelci, Tobi, Melisa and Sadee for the extra EXTRA care and support. I highly recommend this place and their entire staff. Thank you Wasatch Care Center for your extreme care in helping a family with a decision that no one really likes to face and/or make. :)

My poor mother was in here due to the fact she had surgery on both of her arms. Due to not being able to help herself bathroom wise they would have her go 2 to 3 days without showering cause they were to lazy to shower there patients. I had to go in multiple times to ask them why no one was able to shower her. On top of the bathroom issues they did not follow her orthopedic surgeon orders. We went today and he was very upset cause if they would of followed his orders she would have been further along in her recovery. I would not leave another one of my loved ones in this ffacilitys care due to neglect.

Wow what a difference...it is amazing the positive changes in this building, staff, and service . My mom was at this building two years ago and though she received adequate care it was not a great experience. She had to go back for a short stay recently and the changes were incredible. The therapy and nursing staff really cared about getting mom better. The staff made sure she was never bored! I am glad we went back. I would recommend this facility to everyone. They will take care of your loved one!

We recently placed a family member at Harrison Poitne. I am so happy we chose this facility. The staff is amazing. They really care about their residents & listened to our concerns. It was updated, and very clean. I recommend Harrison Pointe to anyone. We had a very positive experience.

My husband stayed one night, because of their amazing staff and willingness to help, he was able to go home the next day. A wonderful facility with an amazing, caring staff! I very much recommend them! A special thanks to Tyson!

Staff is uncaring, reckless, unable to follow instructions, and sabotage patients care by being ignorant and careless. Do not recommend.
